We all know we can’t get enough of those happy, dramatic Hallmark movies we all love so much.
So we need to know which live TV streaming service, cable TV service, or TV app has that loveable Hallmark content. Because, of course, we need to get our Hallmark Christmas movie fix (in December and in June).
Well, we have the answers for you.
First, we’ll go over the ways to watch the Hallmark Channel without cable or scroll down to find the ways to watch the Hallmark Channel with cable.

Philo
Provider | Monthly price | Available channels | Learn more |
Philo | $20* | 58 | 7-Day Trial |
Philo has all three Hallmark channels that you want: the Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Drama, and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
You’ll get the trifecta along with more than 60 other channels for a reasonable price. Just $20 per month to watch the fantastic movies we all guiltily love and lots of other channels? Yeah, not bad.
And guess what else comes with that reasonable price? An unlimited DVR storage. But keep in mind, your recording will save for only 30 days.
We like that you get unlimited DVR storage space like YouTube TV, but we don’t like how you can’t save your favorite Hallmark Christmas movie to watch in January or February (c’mon, we all do it).
The other channels you’ll get with your Philo subscription along with the three Hallmark channels include:
- Animal Planet
- BBC America
- The Cooking Channel
- Discovery Channel
- Food Network
- HGTV
- Lifetime
- Lifetime Movie Network
- Nickelodeon
- TV Land
And you can watch all of these channels on your iPhone, iPad, Android smartphone and tablet, Android TV, Roku, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and online.

Sling TV
Plan | Price | TV channel count | Details |
Sling Orange | $35† | 30+ | View Plan |
Sling Blue | $35† | 45+ | View Plan |
Sling Orange + Sling Blue Services | $50† | 50+ | View Plan |
Sling TV is another great, inexpensive live TV streaming service option. You won’t get as many channels with Sling as you do with Philo, but maybe the Sling Orange or Sling Blue package fits your watching needs better.
Sling Orange has your Disney Channel, ESPN, CNN, and TBS channel. And Sling Blue has your Fox News, MSNBC, CNN, and Bravo channel.
But if you want the Hallmark channels with your package, you’ll have to get the Lifestyle Extra. This $5/month add-on comes with the Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Drama, and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, along with Lifetime Movie Network, DIY Network, and The Cooking Channel.
So if you get Sling Orange or Sling Blue plus the Lifestyle Extra add-on, you’ll be paying $40 per month for live TV and your three favorite channels!
That’s not a bad price for a channel lineup that is more tailored to your entertainment needs. Like your romance movie needs on a Friday night when you want to wind down with a glass of wine.
If you want to know more about Sling’s channels or the devices you can stream Sling on, check out our Sling TV Review.
Frndly TV
Service | Monthly price | Channels | Details |
Frndly TV | $5.99/mo. | 15 | 1-Week Trial |
If you’ve never heard of Frndly TV, it’s a simple and affordable streaming service with 15 live channels and on-demand content.
You’ll get your Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Drama, and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries channels for the price of a 12-pack of sodas. The other 12 channels you’ll get access to are the following:
- UPtv
- INSP
- The Weather Channel
- Curiosity Stream
- Outdoor Channel
- Sportsman Channel
- World Fishing Network
- Game Show Network
- PixL
- Light TV
- BabyFirst
- QVC
So watch Crown for Christmas and A Very Merry Mix-Up one day, and entertain your baby with the BabyFirst channel the next.
You can stream Frndly TV on your iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, Android smartphones and tablets, Android TV, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, and Chromecast.
Hallmark Movies Now
Service | Monthly price | Channels | Details |
Hallmark Movies Now | $5.99/mo. | N/A | 1-Month Trial |
If you’re not interested in getting a live TV streaming service, and you want only Hallmark content, well, try out the Hallmark Movies Now app.
It’s the price of a coffee each month, and you’ll get to stream movies, series, and specials from the Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, and Hallmark Hall of Fame.
One nice bonus to getting the app rather than a live TV streaming service is no ads. So watch all of the spring, fall, Valentine’s, and Christmas Hallmark movies with zero interruptions.
If you know you’ll be watching all of the season and holiday movies year-round, we recommend you sign up for one full year with Hallmark Movies Now for $59.99. You’ll save $1 each month (to go toward your movie snacks)!
You can watch all of the Hallmark content your heart desires on the following devices:
- iPhone, iPad
- Android smartphone, tablet
- Apple TV
- Android TV
- Roku
- Amazon Fire TV
- Samsung smart TV

FuboTV

You may have heard of fuboTV as the live streaming service for sports fans, especially fútbol or international sports fans.
But over the past couple of years, fuboTV has turned itself into a streaming service for the whole family.

- Big Ten Network
- CBS
- CNN
- Food Network

DISH is the most widely available and best way to get all three of the Hallmark channels among these TV providers.
This satellite provider gives you the Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Drama, and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries in packages with 240+ or 290+ other channels.
Enjoy watching episodes of When Calls the Heart and then switching over to the Golf Channel or Game Show Network.
If you want the America’s Top 200 package, it’s $89.99 per month and comes with lots of sports channels. And if you want America’s Top 250, your monthly bill will be $99.99 with a ton of movie channels.
To help you further decide which package you should get, check out the channel lineups. You’ll get the following channels with America’s Top 200:
- Disney Channel
- ESPN
- HGTV
- Investigation Discovery
- Lifetime Movie Network
- MLB Network
- NBA TV
- NFL Network
- Nickelodeon
- PAC-12 Network
America’s Top 250 includes the following channels:
- Bloomberg Television
- EPIX Drive-In
- FX Movie Channel
- MoviePlex
- NBC Universo
- Nicktoons
- STARZ Encore Action
- STARZ Encore Family
- STARZ Encore Westerns
- The Movie Channel

Xfinity TV
Monthly price | Available channels | Learn more
![]() | $49.99–$89.49^ | 220 | View Plans |
If you’re not interested in getting satellite TV, the next best provider for the Hallmark channels is Xfinity cable TV.
But there’s a catch.
Xfinity’s Digital Starter package is $50/month for 140+ channels, including the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. But this package doesn’t have Hallmark Drama.
And vice versa with the Digital Preferred package. You only get the Hallmark Drama channel even though you get 200+ channels for $89.49/month.
Apparently, they think other channels are more important to include in that 200+ count (*eye roll*).
So, of course, we recommend the Digital Starter package to get two Hallmark channels for a lower price and a decent number of channels.
Keep in mind that Xfinity has different prices depending on where you live in the US. Check out our full review of Xfinity to find out more info about the plans and fees.
Spectrum

![]() | $44.99–$94.99° | 200 | View Plans |
All three Spectrum packages have the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries! Yes, that does mean Spectrum doesn’t offer the Hallmark Drama channel (sigh).
Now that you know you’ll be getting your favorite channels with any Spectrum plan, let’s compare the channel lineup (although we do recommend the Select package because of the price and number of channels you get with it).
The Spectrum TV® Select package is $44.99/month with 125+ channels including the following:
- ABC
- Bloomberg TV
- CNN
- Disney Channel
- ESPN
- Food Network
- FOX
- FS1
- FX Movie Channel
- Golf Channel
- HGTV
- PBS Kids
The Spectrum TV® Silver package is $84.99/month with 175+ channels including the following:
- HBO Comedy
- HBO Family
- HBO Latino
- NFL Network
- SHOWTIME Family Zone
- SHOWTIME Showcase
- TeenNick
- ThrillerMax
- Univision
- Univision Deportes
The Spectrum TV Gold package is $104.99/month with 200+ channels including the following:
- MLB Strike Zone
- NBA TV
- NFL RedZone
- NHL Network
- STARZ Encore Action
- STARZ Encore Classic
- STARZ Encore Suspense
- Tennis Channel

Cox
Monthly price | Available channels | Learn more
![]() | $25–$69.99° | 140 | View Plans |
Cox’s Contour TV package is the one you want to watch Real Murders: An Aurora Teagarden Mystery or Timeless Love.
You’ll get the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries along with 140 other channels.
If you didn’t already notice, Cox’s Contour TV package is similar to Xfinity’s Digital Starter package. Same pricing, same number of channels, and same two Hallmark channels.
But which one should you choose?
Xfinity is more widely known and trusted because it’s available in more areas of the US than Cox is. But if you live in one of the 19 states where Cox is available, you’ll love the DVR.
Cox’s DVR stores 340 HD or 1,000 SD hours, while the Xfinity X1 DVR stores about 100 HD hours and 500 SD hours. It adds up when you record Hallmark movies and TV shows that you want to save for a long time.
For example, when you want to save Christmas movies to watch in June (amirite or amirite?).
If you want to know where Cox is available in the US, channel customization, or the DVR, take a look at our review.
DIRECTV
Monthly price | Available channels | Learn more
![]() | $64.99–$134.99** | 330 | View Plans |
DIRECTV, the second-best satellite TV service, in our opinion, has some pros and cons.
First of all, DIRECTV offers the Hallmark Channel in all of its packages. That means you can get your favorite channel in the entry-level package for $64.99/month, along with more than 160 channels in the ENTERTAINMENT package.
But there are two caveats:
- DIRECTV has only the Hallmark Channel. No Hallmark Movies & Mysteries or Hallmark Drama.
- The monthly price of $64.99 only lasts for the first year of your contract.
- Oh yeah, there’s a third caveat: there’s a 2-year contract.
Expect second-year price hikes with DIRECTV, and the price hike means your monthly price nearly doubles.
DIRECTV is an excellent option if you don’t have any cable TV services in your area or prefer DIRECTV’s big channel lineup. And if your spouse is a die-hard NFL football fan, then they’re going to love NFL SUNDAY TICKET.
Find out more about the packages, channel lineups, and contracts in our DIRECTV review. Or if you want to see how DIRECTV compares to DISH, check out our satellite TV review.
Recap: How can I watch the Hallmark Channel?
Of course you’re here because you just want to figure out the best way to watch the Hallmark Channel with or without cable, so let us recap why a Hallmark fan should get one of these services:
- Philo: Philo isn’t for the news or sports fans, but it’s a dream for the lifestyle and entertainment watchers. You’ll get all three Hallmark channels for $20! With that, you’ll get 61 channels, including Lifetime, Lifetime Movie Network, and the Food Network.
- Sling TV: Sling TV will have more news and sports channels, but nothing crazy. For $20 more than Philo, you’ll have to choose either the Sling Blue or Sling Orange package and add on the Lifestyle Extra to get all three Hallmark channels. But Sling allows you to get the Disney Channel and ESPN or Fox News and MSNBC. If you need help figuring out which package your family needs, check out our Sling package comparison review.
- Frndly TV: Hallmark Movies Now is the same price as Frndly TV, but you get 12 additional channels! That’s hard to beat. You’ll get the Hallmark channel trio along with The Weather Channel, BabyFirst, and Game Show Network.
- Hallmark Movies Now: Although we do recommend live TV streaming services so your whole family can be happy with the channel choices, Hallmark Movies Now is perfect for those who want only Hallmark content for $5–$6 per month.
- FuboTV: FuboTV is not only excellent for sports-watching families, but you’ll also find channels for kids, lifestyle, and news. FuboTV’s Family package has the Hallmark, Hallmark Movies, and Hallmark Drama channels for $65. It’s up to you to decide which package is best for your budget and family.
- DISH: First of all, DISH offers all three Hallmark channels, unlike any of the other cable or satellite TV providers. But DISH will be a little pricier than the rest at $90–$100, but you get 240+ or 290+ other channels. DISH is available anywhere since you just need to put a satellite dish on top of your house to enjoy all of these channels.
- Xfinity: Xfinity’s Digital Starter package is the way to go if you want cable TV. It’s $50/month for 140+ channels, and you get the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Xfinity is also known to be reliable and widely available.
- Spectrum: All three Spectrum packages have both the Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. The Spectrum TV Select package is $45/month with more than 125 of your favorite channels. But you can also get the Silver package where you’ll find your HBO channels or the Gold package where you’ll find your STARZ channels.
- Cox: Cox has a similar package to Xfinity’s. The Contour TV package has the Hallmark Channel and Movies & Mysteries, you’ll be paying a monthly price of $70, and you’ll get 140 channels on your television. But if you live in an area where Cox is available, you’ll love the DVR. It’ll be hard to fill a DVR storage of 1,000 hours, so record all of the Hallmark movies you want!
- DIRECTV: You can get the Hallmark Channel with DIRECTV for $65/month (for the first year). Your monthly price will almost double during the second year of your contract, but if you don’t have other cable TV options or you like the channel lineup, then just budget accordingly.
If you want more details about the channel lineup for each streaming service, check out our channel comparison review.
Is your house ready for a live TV streaming service?
Most streaming services require a minimum download speed of 18 Mbps to stream in HD. And if you and two other members of your family want to stream at the same time, that means you’ll be using 54 Mbps total!
So do you have the bandwidth to support your family’s streaming needs?

Here are the internet plans we recommend to get the most out of your streaming services without clogging up your family’s whole network.

Recommended cell phone plans
Not only do you need a good internet connection, but you’ll also need enough data to support your streaming needs if you’re a cell phone streamer.
And who isn’t a mobile streamer when it comes to passing the time during your lunch break, riding the train to work, or distracting your little ones while you’re grocery shopping?
We recommend an unlimited data plan for the family, so you never have to worry about limiting your binge-watching or Hallmark-watching time. And we all know it could lead to a family crisis if someone uses more data than they were allowed.
