Starting the 2023 season, you will find NFL Sunday Ticket only on YouTube TV, one of the best live TV streaming services

The Ticket gets you access to all out-of-market games. And that equals up to over 200 games!

NFL Sunday Ticket seems like the shiny new sports thing, but I'm going to get into the details of who this service would truly benefit and who would benefit from cheaper alternatives.

How to Watch NFL Week 4 Games

  • Thursday Night Football’s matchup between the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers will be available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. If you’ll be streaming on your smartphone or tablet, you can stream TNF with your NFL+ subscription. And if you live in or near Detroit or Milkwaukee, you can watch the game on FOX.
  • Among all Sunday’s early afternoon games, the majority of the US will get access to the Dolphins vs. Bills or Broncos vs. Bears games on CBS (but we’re talking only 30% of the US for each). For FOX, all five games are split evenly across the US in their respective fanbase areas. If you’re not in that 30% or live in the area of your team, you’ll need NFL Sunday Ticket to watch the game.
  • For Sunday’s late afternoon games, if you didn’t get an early game on CBS, you’ll get the late afternoon matchup between the Raiders and LA Chargers. If you live on the further west edge of the US, you’ll get the Cardinals and 49ers game on FOX. The rest of the country can watch the Patriots vs. Cowboys game.
  • Sunday Night Football’s matchup between the Chiefs and Jets will air on NBC.  For the Monday Night Football game, the Seahawks vs. NY Giants will air on ABC and ESPN and be streamable on ESPN+.
You'll need great internet to stream NFL Sunday Ticket on YouTube TV. Find internet providers near you with just a zip code.

How much is NFL Sunday Ticket?

YouTube TV is offering presale pricing until September 19.

The NFL Sunday Ticket add-on is $349 for the season, and NFL Sunday Ticket + NFL RedZone Channel is $389. Today, you can get either of these add-ons for $50 off.

And these prices include your YouTube TV subscription ($73/month).

If you want to keep your cable or satellite TV provider and order the Ticket without YouTube TV, that's possible too! You'll just have to pay $100 extra for the season.

How much does NFL Sunday Ticket cost?

NFL Sunday Ticket w/ Student Discount$109.00–$119.00/ season

Should I get NFL Sunday Ticket?

If you're a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan who lives in Seattle and want to watch all 17 games, NFL Sunday Ticket is for you.

If you're a players fan or a Fantasy Football diehard, and want to catch the occasional Steelers game, you'll benefit from a TV service with the local channels, ESPN, and NFL Network.

You'll also want the NFL RedZone Channel. What's the NFL RedZone Channel, you ask?

Well, the best channel ever made.

This channel will show you the best moments of the Sunday morning and afternoon games in real-time. This channel jumps to whichever team is inside the 20-yard line with a chance to score and show replays of outstanding pick-6s, tackles, one-handed grabs, and Hail Marys.

We have a list of live TV streaming services and traditional TV providers with these NFL-game channels.

But for either fan, you'll have to order Amazon Prime Video for Thursday Night Football games.

If you want more details, check out our comparison of NFL Sunday Ticket vs. NFL RedZone Channel.

NFL Sunday Ticket blackouts

There is only one case in which your NFL Sunday Ticket subscription won't give you access to a specific game—and that's when the game is on your local CBS, FOX, or NBC channel.

So don't worry. Just switch over to your channel guide to find your local CBS or FOX channel for the Sunday afternoon games, or the NBC channel for Sunday Night Football.
