How to cancel Disney Plus
A simple step-by-step guide (with screenshots) on how to quickly cancel your Disney Plus subscription.
Disney Plus (Disney+) has just landed (well, in three lucky regions: the US, Canada and the Netherlands), but you’re already looking for that cancellation button. That’s okay. Whatever your reason for cancelling, Disney Plus is, thankfully, one of those subscription services that doesn’t require a stack of clicks to move away from it. It’s even simpler than downloading Disney Plus titles for offline viewing.
Below is a list of the handful of manual cancellation steps to follow in a computer browser (or you can tap the equivalent options on a compatible Disney Plus touchscreen device) to quickly cancel Disney Plus, no matter what country you’re in.
Hover your mouse cursor over ‘Profile’ in the top right corner.
Click on ‘Account’ from the drop-down menu options.
Click on ‘Billing details’ under ‘Subscription’.
Click on ‘Cancel Subscription’.
Alternatively, you can follow this link, which should take you straight to the cancellation page once you enter your login details. You should receive an email on your nominated account that confirms the cancellation of your account.
It’s worth noting that the cancellation applies after the current billing or trial (if relevant) period. This means if you pay for a month and cancel immediately, your cancellation goes into effect after that month expires. The screen associated with Step 5 above will tell you your next billing date, which is when the cancellation will occur.
Also, if you’ve ordered Disney+ via a third-party provider (e.g. the App Store or Google Play), you can follow the same steps above until you reach the ‘Billing details’ page. Then follow the relevant blue hyperlink to the specific third-party service to cancel your Disney+ subscription.

What if I want back in?
If you cancel before your 7-day free trial is up, Disney Plus will still have your account on billing details on record. Resuming your subscription will be as simple as logging back in with your Disney Plus account email address and password and confirming your billing details.0
If you want to entirely scrub your account details from the Disney Plus service, that can be done too, but you will need to get in touch with the Disney Plus customer support team over the phone or live chat between 8am and 12am seven days a week.
