Our relationships with telcos
We have commercial agreements with some providers in our database. When you click a 'Go to Site' button, we receive a small payment from that brand – this is how we can afford to keep comparing internet and mobile plans. But we still compare and highlight plans we receive no payments for because we believe this helps you find one that best suits your needs.
Boost Mobile international roaming add-ons

Boost Mobile customers have access to international roaming in dozens of countries via three international roaming packs. All three add-ons are compatible with eSIM.
- Boost Mobile International Roaming Small ($20) includes 1GB of data, 15 texts, 15 minutes of calls with three-day expiry
- Boost Mobile International Roaming Medium ($30) includes 3GB of data, 30 texts, 30 minutes of calls with seven-day expiry.
- Boost Mobile International Roaming Large ($40) includes 5GB of data, 60 texts, 60 minutes of calls with 14-day expiry.
Outside of being a Telstra customer, Boost Mobile is the only other way to have access to the full Telstra mobile network. That’s at home in Australia, but if you’re heading overseas Boost offers straightforward international roaming add-ons for dozens of countries.

How to set up Boost Mobile international roaming
To turn on roaming for your Boost Mobile plan, follow these steps.
By default, international roaming is enabled for Boost Mobile customers. To take advantage of that inclusion, all you have to do is use the My Boost app to select the add-on pack you’d like.
Boost advises downloading the My Boost app before heading overseas, and you may either want to buy a roaming pack the day you head overseas (from Australia) or use WiFi overseas to buy a pack. Why? Because the expiry timer starts when you purchase it.
The My Boost app tracks international roaming usage, including calls, text, data and how many days are left. To add and access Boost Mobile international roaming packs, go to the section of the app where you'd usually go to recharge your service.
Select and choose your Boost Mobile international roaming pack of choice to purchase it. You will receive a free-of-charge SMS from Boost when you’ve used 50%, 85% and/or 100% of your inclusions. It is also possible to stack international roaming packs if you want to get ahead of expiry or add another pack to account for a used-up inclusion.
