Foxtel's streaming spin-off Kayo has become the premiere destination to catch over 50 live sports on-demand. While it doesn't come with the lock-in contracts of yesteryear, at $25 or $35 per month it's more expensive than your typical streaming service. Thankfully, you can try it at a heavily discounted rate for the first month, score an ongoing discount if you bundle Kayo with Netflix via Hubbl, or simply opt to try it out with a 7-day free trial.

🔥 Deal: Get your first month of Kayo for $1

Disclaimer: Pricing and plans are only accurate as of the publish date.

Every new Kayo customer has two options: take out a 7-day free trial or pay $1 for the first month. Regardless of whether you've chosen the $30 Kayo Standard plan or the $40 Kayo Premium plan, you're eligible for the one month for $1 deal.

Kayo deal for returning customers

Returning customers won't be eligible for the one month for $1 deal but they may be able to score one month of Kayo Premium for $25 (a discount of $15 for the first month.) After the first month, that price will automatically revert to $40 per month.

Kayo Sport free trial

7 days free

If you'd rather pay zilch while testing out Kayo Sports, you can still get a 7-day free trial. It just takes an extra step or two. When new customers first land on the Kayo Sport landing page, the voucher for the $1 for 1 month deal will already be applied. To get the 7-day free trial instead, you simply need to click the 'Remove Voucher' link underneath the plans.

Once the voucher is removed, the 7-day free trial will automatically applied.

Kayo Sports plans

Kayo offers two plans: Kayo Standard HD and Kayo Premium 4K. Kayo One offers one HD stream for $30 per month while Kayo Basic offers 4K streaming on two streams for $40 per month. Both plans offer equal access to the full suite of live sports.

Kayo + CommBank Yello

Big discounts for CommBank customers.

Commbank Yello

If you're a CommBank customer, you might not even realise that you have access to a suite of perks through CommBank Yello. Available through the CommBank app, Yello offers increasingly valuable perks for Everyday, Everyday Plus and Homeowner customers. Standard perks include discounted mobile and internet plans through More, as well as a welcome credit with Amber Electric. However, there are also other deals and discounts available from various Australian retailers, including Kayo. So long as you're an active CommBank customer using one of the previously mentioned accounts, you could be eligible for up to 12 months of Kayo discounts.

  1. Kayo Standard: Get Kayo Standard for $15 per month for 12 months
  2. Kayo Premium: Get Kayo Premium for $30 per month for 12 months

This deal ends on the 3rd of June 2025, the same day that the price of Kayo Standard will increase from $25 per month to $30 per month. So it's not a bad time to sign up if you're a sports fan with a CommBank account.

Hubbl + Kayo Stack & Save

Exclusive to Hubbl customers.

Hubbl streaming box

While it's not exclusively a Kayo Sports deal, Hubbl users can get a discount with the Stack & Save feature. Hubbl rewards you for signing up to multiple eligible services with bigger discounts for more services. So say you bundle Kayo, Netflix and Binge, you will save $5 per month.

Here's each discount tier:

  1. Stack 3 apps: Save $5 per month
  2. Stack 4 apps: Save $10 per month
  3. Stack 5 apps: Save $15 per month

Kayo Freebies

Stream select sports on Kayo for free.

Kayo doesn't offer a free trial but you can stream some of Kayo for free.

Freebies is a completely free version of Kayo Sport that offers a smaller selection of sports content with all of the same premium features that Kayo offers, like SplitView and Key Moments.

All you need to do is sign up with your email address to access Kayo Freebies. No payment details are needed.

There's a decent selection of free replays, commentary and documentaries available with Freebies, including recent NBL and Women's National Cricket League (WNCL) Matches, plus extended World Surfing League features from 2024's Fiji Open. And that's barely scratching the surface.

Club Membership Perks

12 months of Kayo with digital club membership subscriptions.

Kayo Club Membership

Another way to score a deal on Kayo is via a digital club membership for your favourite AFL, NRL or NBL team.

If you were already planning on paying for a digital club membership, this might be the best deal of all, as it nets you 12 months of Kayo Standard at no extra cost.

Head to Kayo's website more information on how to claim your 12 months of Kayo with a Club Digital Membership
