Our top pick for pod coffee machines, the Nespresso Creatista Pro is down from $1,399 to $997 direct from Amazon. This coffee machine takes the simplicity of a capsule coffee system and adds in simple, automated milk steaming to elevate the pod experience.

While Nespresso machines are all top of the line for pod coffee, the Creatista Pro tipped over to number one due to the steaming and because it still uses Classic pods. The new Vertuo Nespresso pods brew coffee in a smarter way, but they’re also only available directly from Nespresso. This makes your coffee selection far more limited, which we don't love. Classic Nespresso pods on the other hand have been picked up globally by leading coffee growers, and therefore give you plenty of options to choose from.

On top of that, the Creatista Pro steams velvety milk at the press of a button. With the included jug, the wand measures the milk temperature while steaming, simultaneously controlling air flow depending on how much froth you want. It has a lot of what you want in a coffee machine.

The machine has a solid 19 Bar pressure which is enough to create rich cremas atop your espresso. Plus uses an intuitive touch screen operation, and comes with a generous 1.5 litre water tank. Usually retailing for $1,399, Amazon has taken $402 off the price bringing it under $1000 with free delivery for Prime members. This price is valid until the offer is rescinded.
