A new batch of PlayStation Plus games has landed just in time for the millions of Australians thrown back into lockdown. In case you missed it, June's lineup included one PS5 title (Operation: Tango) and two PS4 titles (Star Wars: Squadrons and Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown). Sony is continuing the console split this month with one new PS5 exclusive and two new PS4 games on offer.

All of the PS Plus July games are free to PlayStation Plus subscribers and can be downloaded any time between Tuesday, July 6, and Monday, August 2. If you haven't downloaded June's free games yet, get a move on - they're only available till July 5, with the exception of Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown, which will hang around for another month.

Here are the free PS Plus games this month

1. A Plague Tale: Innocence

PlayStation 5

The hit 2019 survival horror game A Plague Tale: Innocence has been revamped for the PlayStation 5, with 4K native resolution, targeted 60fps, enhanced visuals and fast loading. You'll play as Amicia de Rune who, accompanied by her young brother Hugo, must embark on a desperate journey to escape the French Inquisition troops on their tails - along with and hordes of black plague-carrying rats - fighting to survive, find purpose, and if they're lucky, safe haven.

2. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4

PlayStation 4

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4, which launched in 2018, continues the story arc from previous Black Ops titles, but is the first in the series not to feature a single-player campaign mode. Instead, it introduces a new battle royale mode called Blackout, which sees up to 100 players battle it out for victory. The ever-popular multiplayer mode remains, so you can still fight alongside your mates.
