Disney recently released Frozen 2 early on Disney Plus, a full three months before its intended digital release date.

If you've subscribed to get your Frozen fix, you'll be happy to know there's a treasure trove of quality kids movies and TV shows to binge with your 7-day free trial. We've already rounded-up the best movies on Disney Plus but for some more recent family fare, you can't go past 2019's The Lion King remake.

The Lion King received a pretty icy reception when it launched last year. Many thought the CGI upgrade (or downgrade depending on where you sit) failed to recapture the magic of the animated classic. We think the reaction was a little overblown but if you did manage to miss it at the cinema, you can now head back to Pride Rock from the comfort of your own home (and for free if you're not already subscribed to Disney Plus).

For more of our top picks, head over to our round-up of the best TV shows on Disney Plus.
