I Can’t Decide if This YouTube TV Feature is Amazing or Useless

In Season 8, Episode 10, of The Office, Kevin says this sentence because it’s a shortcut way of speaking so as to not waste time. I mean, maybe he’s on to something (though most of the time that was questionable lol).

But YouTube TV offers a really ✨interesting✨ feature that has the same idea at heart:
Don’t waste time.

And you know what wastes a lot more time than you think? Flipping between channels and devices!

So YouTube TV ushered in a feature called the “Multiview Feature.”

Basically, you can keep tabs on four shows at the same time. It’s flexible. It’s simple. And it’s free. And it’s INSANE???

YouTube TV allows you to literally customize what you’re watching: from news, to sports, to your favorite random shows. (Before 2026, you had to select from a pre-selected list).

My three little kids were lit up when they saw this feature because “now we don’t have to fight over who watches what!” Yeah, that’s a big no from me.

💡So is this feature worth it?

🤯 Do you like keeping tabs on four shows or events at the same time?

Maybe the scariest part is we already do this—we put a movie on the TV … while scrolling through our phone … while looking at our email on our laptop.

I never said it was a good idea. I just said it’s amazing.

There’s actually a lot more to YouTube TV. If you’re in the mood to read a riveting deep-dive into plans and pricing and firsthand experience, you should check out my YouTube TV Review.

If not, stick around. We have a ton of other hot takes on boring stuff like TV and internet.

Life is indeed a highway,
