Sling TV is our favorite service for watching the NBA All-Star Game because it’s the least expensive option. For $40, you can watch Team Giannis Antetokounmpo and Team LeBron James go head to head in the comfort of your home.

With that low price, you can get TNT with either Sling Orange or Sling Blue (or get Sling Orange + Blue for $55 if you’d like 46 channels).

We suggest getting Sling Orange if you want more kids’ channels or Sling Blue if you’re a news junkie. We recommend ordering the Sling Orange + Blue package you'd like all the kids, news, lifestyle, and sports channels Sling offers.

Along with TNT, you’ll also find these channels with Sling Orange:

  • Disney Channel
  • ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN3
  • Freeform
  • MotorTrend

Sling Blue gives you TNT and the following channels:

  • FOX News
  • FOX Sports (FS1)
  • MSNBC
  • NFL Network
  • USA

PS: We don’t suggest ordering Sling Orange + Blue unless you really need the ESPN channels and Disney Channel. Otherwise, you’ll be set with the Sling Blue for $15 less.

Our favorite live TV streaming service doesn’t have TNT

We’re a little disappointed in fuboTV, our favorite live TV streaming service. We also named it our favorite live TV streaming service for sports because it has 50 sports channels, but it’s not ideal for basketball fans who need TNT.

Xfinity TV is one of the best cable TV providers, and it’s the best cable option for the 2023 NBA All-Star Game.

After you’ve finished watching Steph Curry throw some three’s, you’ll be able to enjoy a whopping 185 channels. That’s more than double the channels that YouTube TV offers.

But of course, when you get into the cable TV providers, you have to ask yourself if fees are worth it (because Xfinity has some pricey ones). Make sure to check out the list of fees to get an idea of what you might be paying on top of the monthly package price.

With Popular TV, enjoy the following channels:

  • BBC America
  • CNN
  • Discovery
  • ESPN, ESPN2

Of course, one of the best things that Hulu Live offers for basketball fans is the TNT channel — along with ABC and ESPN.

We understand that the next best thing could be if Hulu Live offered NBA TV. But since it doesn’t, allow us to highlight this streaming service’s greatest bonus — Hulu Live includes the Disney+ and ESPN+ bundle.

After you’ve finished watching Ja Morant go off in his second All-Star Game, you’ll get to choose from the following list for your entertainment:

  • Hulu Live’s 85+ channels, including ESPN, FOX Sports (FS1 and FS2), and NFL Network
  • Hulu’s on-demand library filled with about 3,000 titles
  • Disney+ content, such as The Lion King, Encanto, Star Wars, and Glory Road
  • ESPN+ 30 for 30s, Man In the Arena: Tom Brady, All Madden, and Eli’s Places

If you’re looking for a satellite TV provider because you want lots of channels or you live in a rural area, DISH won’t disappoint.

Although DISH is the priciest on our top five list for watching the All-Star Game, it offers the most channels if you like to channel jump or explore more TV shows.

Who doesn’t like the sound of that?

NBA fans, listen up: you’ll have to get the $100/month plan to get all the sports channels DISH can give you, including NBA TV.

The downside might be that you have to spend over $100 per month on your TV service, but after you get front row seats on your couch to appreciate LeBron’s greatness, you get to watch 240 channels afterward.

Our DISH TV review will help you decide which plan is best for you, but we’ll give you a sneak peek of DISH’s America’s Top 200’s channel lineup:

  • CNN
  • Disney Channel
  • ESPN, ESPN2
  • Food Network
  • FX
  • Golf Channel
  • Longhorn Network
  • MLB Network
  • NBA TV

Recap: What’s the best TV provider for watching the 2023 NBA All-Star Game?

  • Sling TV: Sling TV is the best option for streaming the 2023 All-Star Game if you’re looking to save some money for playoff tickets or a Nikola Jokić jersey. All of its low-cost plans have TNT, but we think you’ll get the most out of Sling Blue because it has 40 channels, including NFL Network and FS1. But go Sling Orange if you’d rather have all three ESPN channels and Disney Channel.
  • YouTube TV: If you’d like a live TV streaming service that covers all of your NBA needs (TNT, ABC, ESPN, and NBA TV) along with 17 total sports channels, we recommend YouTube TV. There’s no question why we named this live TV streaming service the best for streaming NBA games. And don’t forget, you can record all of the games with YouTube TV’s unlimited DVR storage.
  • Xfinity TV: If you want a cable TV service for watching the All-Star Game and the rest of the games this season, Xfinity TV is it. Get the Popular TV package if 125 of the top channels is sufficient for you, or upgrade for $20 more to get 23 sports channels, including NBA TV, with Ultimate TV. Just make sure the extra fees in your area are worth ordering this service.
  • Hulu + Live TV: Hulu Live is best for families who want TNT for the All-Star Game, want to be able to flip through 85+ channels, and want to stream on-demand content from Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+. This service isn’t complete for basketball fans, though, as it doesn’t have the NBA TV channel.
  • DISH: DISH’s America’s Top 200 plan has TNT, NBA TV, ABC, and ESPN, along with 240 other channels for $100 per month. That's a pretty dang good dollar to channel ratio. Did we mention you’ll get close to 30 sports channels? (Tip: if you happen to be an NBA and college sports fan, this will be your go-to plan.)

If none of these catch your eye, we recommend checking out DIRECTV's live-streaming service, Spectrum TV (cable TV provider), or DIRECTV's satellite TV service. And if March is around the corner, we can help you stream every game for free.
