How to Pay Your Sprint Bill
Every way you can pay your Sprint bill, with easy instructions
Since Sprint was discontinued in 2020, this review is no longer being updated.
You’re probably a Sprint customer because you enjoy the company’s cheap cell phone plans. But a cheap phone bill can still be frustrating to pay. Let us make it a bit easier.
Here are simple instructions for paying your Sprint bill, whether by phone, on the My Sprint app, or using another method.
And for those of you who are wondering how the T-Mobile and Sprint merger will affect your bill, the answer is simple: it won’t. At least, it won’t affect your bill for the foreseeable future. If that changes, Sprint will inform you.
Paying with the Sprint mobile app
Need to pay your bill? Well, as the saying goes, “there’s an app for that.” Actually, the My Sprint app is probably the fastest and easiest way to pay your monthly phone bill.

Here’s how you can pay your bill with the My Sprint app:
- Sign in (or sign up) to your My Sprint app.
- Tap on Make a payment.
- Input the amount you want to pay and the payment date.
- Tap Continue.
- Review and confirm your payment.
If your old Samsung Galaxy S4 just can’t handle another app, then maybe it’s time for an upgrade. Check out our roundup of the most amazing phone deals on the market right now.
Paying on Sprint’s website
If you can’t pay with the My Sprint app on your phone, the next easiest way to take care of your bill is to pay online. Sprint actually has two web pages for online pay, one for My Sprint members and one for making an Express Payment without signing in.
Pay on the web using a My Sprint account
If you have a My Sprint account (or you want to have one) then go to Sprint’s bill pay page to make a payment.

Once you've signed in (or signed up), just follow these steps to pay your bill:
- Click on Bill Pay.
- Select your preferred payment method.
- Click on Continue.
- Review and confirm your payment.
- Click on Authorize.
And it’s a wrap. You’re done. Payment made.
Pay on the web without a My Sprint account
If you don’t have a My Sprint account, or just don’t feel like using it, you can take care of your bill using Sprint’s Express Payment website.

To make a payment without signing in to My Sprint, just follow these instructions:
- Enter your Sprint phone number or account number.
- Enter the credit card information for your payment.
- Enter your email address (to get a receipt).
- Click on Submit Payment.
Your Express Payment should go through right away (Sprint says there’s a 15-minute posting time).
Paying by phone
We don’t recommend paying your Sprint bill by phone, unless you want to add $7 to your bill for some reason. Yep, there’s a $7 “agent-assisted support fee” for all payments done over the phone. You can get a phone plan for just a few bucks more than that!
But, if you insist, here are the steps for paying your Sprint bill over the phone.
- Call *3 from your Sprint phone.
- Follow the automated prompts to pay your bill.
Once you’ve paid your bill over the phone, you might want to set up a My Sprint account so you can save that $7 by paying online or through an app next time.
Paying through the mail
If you’re still paying your bills by mail, good for you! Someone needs to keep the United States Postal Service in business.
Just follow these easy steps to pay your Sprint bill by mail:
- Write a personal check to Sprint for the amount of your bill.
- Send it using the envelope provided with your bill or address your own envelope to:
PO Box 4191
Carol Stream, IL 60197-4191
Be sure to give seven days for your payment to be processed by Sprint. If you need your payment to clear before then, try one of the other bill pay methods here.
Paying at a Sprint store
Maybe you’ve got an issue with your bill. Or maybe you just want to pay your bill while you’re at the store upgrading to an unlimited data plan. Or maybe you just like to do things face to face. Either way, you can pay your bill at a brick and mortar Sprint store.
Just find the location nearest to you and talk to an employee there to pay your bill. (Note that many of Sprint’s stores are currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so call before you head to the store to make sure it’s open.)
Paying with autopay
If you never want to worry about paying your Sprint bill again, then you should enroll in autopay. With autopay your credit card or bank account will be automatically charged every month.
