All Verizon 5G Internet plans and prices
Verizon offers two 5G home internet packages. The standard 5G Home plan costs $50 per month for download speeds up to 300Mbps, while 5G Home Plus plan costs $70 per month for download speeds up to 1,000Mbps (both of these plans require Autopay and paper-free billing to get the discounted rate). All of Verizon’s 5G home internet plans come with unlimited data, no contracts, no early termination fees, and discounts with Autopay and paper-free billing. You don’t have to worry about a professional installation fee and the modem is included. Depending on the plan, Verizon also guarantees a price lock for two or three years.
If you also have a qualifying Verizon mobile line, you can instantly cut your bill down by $15 per month on either of the 5G home internet plans. To get this discount, you must have a mobile line first and then connect it to your internet plan.
Both home internet plans also include lots of other perks—free installation, no data limits, no equipment fees. Each plan comes with a two- or three-year price guarantee, so you don’t have to worry about price hikes during that period. However, Verizon may run a credit check on new customers to determine if you need to pay a security deposit, up to $400.
What to expect in your Verizon 5G Home Internet bill:

Which Spectrum Internet speed is right for you?
Recommended speed
Verizon 5G home internet uses wireless technology to provide internet connection to your home (not to be confused with Verizon Fios fiber internet). Its 5G Home plan offers download speeds up to 300Mbps, which is fast enough for 1080p HD video streaming. And its 5G Home Plus plan offers download speeds up to 1,000Mbps, which is fast enough for Ultra HD 4K video streaming.
We recommend the 5G Home plan with speeds up to 300Mbps for basic household, streaming, and work from home needs. Generally, gigabit speeds are overkill for most households. However, the 5G Home Plus plan with speeds up to 1,000Mbps could be a better fit for larger households, more connected devices, and heavy duty tasks like making regular video calls, streaming video in 4K, or hosting a livestream.
Here’s how to get the best Verizon 5G Internet deals
When you connect a Verizon mobile line to any of Verizon’s 5G internet plans, you get a $15 monthly discount.
Take advantage of a free perk with the 5G Home Plus plan and save yourself up to $10 every month.
Most homes don’t need more than 300Mbps speed. Consider how the cheaper 5G internet plan option could satisfy the needs of your household.

Frequently asked questions about Verizon 5G Internet deals
Yes. However, things like network congestion, bad weather, or geographic impediments can affect its wireless connection technology. Despite some inconsistency, 5G does provide a fast connection with internet plans that easily support a medium-sized household.
Wireless home internet service usually requires a direct line of sight between the cell site and your home. That’s why some addresses in the same neighborhood may get coverage, while others do not. But things change all the time, so sign up for updates through the Verizon site to know when new coverage becomes available to your area.
Yes! Consider a Wi-Fi extender. Verizon’s 5G Home Plus plan includes a Whole Home Wi-Fi package and one Wi-Fi extender to increase the reliability of your connection. You can also upgrade to Verizon Whole Home Wi-Fi Plus and get up to 3 Wi-Fi extenders for $5 per month.
