Tempted by a decent NBN deal elsewhere? TPG might match it and then some.

This particular provider of NBN and mobile plans has introduced a new Bunnings Warehouse-style "price beat guarantee" in a bid to help it find new customers by giving those same newcomers save some cash.

While this offer does extend across TPG's NBN 25, NBN 50, NBN 100, NBN 250 and NBN 1000 plans, it doesn't include Fixed Wireless NBN plans and is only available to new customers. Those who take advantage of the offer will be able to save on the cost of a TPG NBN plan for the first twelve months (or as long as they stick around, should they leave before then).

The other big catch here is that TPG will only match offers from a list of selected competitors. This includes Aussie Broadband, Belong, Dodo, Extel, Optus, Superloop, Tangerine, and Telstra. For a sense of how TPG typically compares to these providers when it comes to the average cost of an NBN 100 plan, check out the widget below.

As you can see, TPG isn't quite topping the list when it comes to the average cost involved. However, if you were to take advantage of the provider's new price-beat offer that math changes a little. For context, check out the widget below for a full list of TPG NBN plans you can save on using the provider's new price-beat policy.

If you're already sold then follow the steps below to take advantage of the TPG's new price-beat policy.

How to sign up for TPG's price match guarantee?

1
Sign up to one of TPG's NBN plans

Again, this offer is only eligible to new customers.

2
Submit your claim

The claim must be submitted to this page within seven days of signing up for a TPG NBN plan. You'll need to include your TPG account number, contact details, the date you signed up plus the details of the lower advertised price you saw from one of the NBN providers mentioned above.

3
Wait for TPG to credit your account

According to the website, TPG will assess and return a result for your claim within 10 business days. If you're successful, then expect to see a credit on your monthly internet bill that makes the cost of your TPG NBN plan lower than that whatever you submitted. That discount should stick around for your first 12 months with TPG. After that point, your plan will revert to the usual price.
