MOVA's new P50 Pro Ultra robot vacuum and mop might be releasing at $934.99, but its specs look pretty similar to high end competitors like Ecovacs and Roborock.

Decked out with 19,000Pa suction, this makes the MOVA just that little bit more powerful than Roborock's Qrevo Curv and Saros line up, and Ecovacs' X8 Pro Omni. It comes equipped with an Anti-Tangle CleanChop Brush, which is the brands answer to the various anti-tangle technologies on the market right now. In MOVA's iteration, the vacuum combs through hair to untangle it and then cuts it before sucking it up. How this fares in real life is yet to be seen, but we'll put it to the test soon enough.

On the robot itself there are dual, spinning mop heads and a flexible reaching side brush. Both extend out for better edge cleaning, similar to the technology we have seen from the leading brands in robovacs ranging from $1,999 through to $2,999. The P50 Pro Ultra also has liftable mops, side brushes, and main brushes which move out of the way if they're not needed, and it also has entirely automated mop removal back at the base station. Similar to the soon-to-be available Saros 10 from Roborock, the mop heads disconnect at the station so the robovac can go and dry vacuum without spreading moisture.

Back at the base station the MOVA is entirely self sufficient, emptying, cleaning, and refilling independently. The device uses 75℃ water for mop washing and hot air to dry it off.

How these on-paper specs fair in real life is yet to be seen, but the claims look promising compared to major competitors in the market.

Although the device retails for $1,299, at launch on March 12th the P50 Pro Ultra will have a 28% discount through Amazon. This brings the retail price down to just $934.99 until March 31st.
