Acerpure’s first vacuum to hit the Australian market is purely a corner-crevice device. The Clean Lite is a tiny, cordless vacuum cleaner with a distinctive 90 degree head made for getting into tight corners.

Tiny in all senses of the word, the lightweight vacuum is 550g, holds only 150ml of debris in its canister, and retails for $199. While the vacuum can of course be used anywhere, with such a small canister you’ll either need to have a very small space to cover or very little dust to collect in order to do so. For comparison the bin size on most stick vacuums we’ve reviewed is between 600 ml and 1L.

To achieve the right-angled corner head, Acerpure forwent a roller or bristle brush in the head instead banking on the 13,000Pa suction to do the job. In demonstrations the angled head picked up dry oatmeal off various flooring surfaces effectively, but performed better on smaller particles using the included brush head.

With a four hour charge time Acer claims the gadget will have a 15 minute run time. The vacuum only has one speed setting so this number can’t be irked out any further by switching to lower suction. Notably it charges via USB-C so hypothetically you could reverse charge from your iPhone 15 if you’ve got a job that will take longer than a quarter of an hour.

An Acerpure spokesperson told Reviews.org that they’re not trying to compete with Dyson with this device, because Dyson doesn’t have anything like it. The angled head is indeed a unique selling proposition, no other products available in Australia have a design like this- most corner crevice tools are a flat head sliced at a 45 degree angle.

The Clean Lite is one of a handful of products announced as part of Acerpure’s Australian launch. Other products include a slew of air purifiers and circulators, a hair dryer and styler, and a combination air fryer and cooktop.
