We've been singing the praised of Samsung's Bespoke Jet stick vacuum range for a few years, and now our top rated stick vacuum has a new, more powerful iteration. The Bespoke AI Jet Ultra Stick Vacuum has today been announced as part of Samsung's latest Bespoke AI range, and it comes with 400W of suction power. That is almost double the power of the original Bespoke Jet which won our hearts.

This power is harnessed using Samsung's AI Cleaning Mode 2.0 which can identify different types of carpet and four seperate usage conditions. AI Cleaning Mode 1.0 only recognises the four cleaning conditions including hard floor, carpet, mat, and moving. Seemingly 2.0 will be of the highest value to those with multiple carpet types in the home. 2.0 is only available when the device is linked to the SmartThings app, the bluetooth connection between the dock and vacuum are working, and the WiFi signal is strong, otherwise it will revert back to Mode 1.0. I quite literally wrote about how much I dislike stick vacuums needing the internet to work earlier today, so you can probably guess my stance here. Primarily hard floored homes will likely be just as well off with Mode 1.0.

Connecting the device also adds in an in-app Cleaning History feature, and (to my chagrin) allows select phones to pair with the device to notify users of incoming calls and messages on the vacuum. Once again, I have already ranted about this today so I will spare you a recap. For those who want to use this feature it is available on phones using Android 11 or higher, or One UI 3.1 or higher. Apple devices are also supported but there is no indication as to where the cut off is for these.

Back on the hardware, the vacuum's filter is rated to 99.99% efficiency making it a medical grade HEPA 13 filter. Kitted out with this system on device, and a vacuum bag encased within the auto-empty dock, the new Bespoke AI Jet Ultra will be excellent for allergy and asthma sufferers

To power this suction the new vacuum has a huge battery, rated to last up to 100 minutes on the lowest setting. Usually stick vacuums cap out at around 45 minutes so the extra quarter of an hour is a nice upgrade. It also comes with two brush heads, two crevice tools, a flex tool, pet tool, and a spray spinning mop head with dual mop pads. In our previous testing we have found Samsung's accessories to be pretty solid, although the mop head won't replace a dedicated electric mop.

Prices for the Bespoke AI Jet Ultra Stick Vacuum start at $1,699, with the device going on sale direct from Samsung on April 7th with other retailers to follow on April 17th.

Samsung Bespoke AI Side By Side

Alongside the vacuum Samsung announced two new refrigerators; the 809L Bespoke AI Family Hub and the 615L AI Home Side By Side.

The Bespoke AI French Door comes with a massive 32-inch touch screen display, and is equipped with Samsung's AI powered food identification camera system - AI Vision. AI Vision can identify fresh food when you take it in and out of the fridge, keeping a log of what you've got inside. This can then connect to the Food+ app which makes recipe suggestions based on the contents of your fridge. This is still quite limited however, and can only recognise 33 food items.

Comparatively the 615L AI Home Side By Side has a teeny tiny 9-inch LCD touch display, but does still have a SmartThings Hub. The Hub allows access to a range of SmartThings features like recipes, a calendar, and a home screen for all connected devices.

The French Door starts from $6,999, while the Side By Side from $3,299. The French Door will be a Samsung and Harvey Norman exclusive offering, but the Side By Side is also available from select retailers. Both are available direct from Samsung today.
