Notable Bunnings smart light brand Lytworx has brought us our very own giant yard skeleton, complete with shifting eyes, a clattering jaw, and seven rather welcoming phrases said in a spooky voice. The 2.4m tall skeleton isn’t exactly up to the 3.4m Home Depot version that soared to viral fame over the past few years, but what our version lacks in height it makes up for in smarts.

While the Home Depot and Lytworx versions share a similar look, complete with LED eyes, the US skeleton can’t speak. Our welcoming lad is however a fierce OHS advocate, and an excellent host with motion activated phrases such as;

“Welcome to my stylish haunted home. I can’t take all the credit for its trippy appearance, the maniacal banshee in the closet deserves some praise,” and “Watch your step, I wouldn’t want you to break a bone. But if you do, you can borrow one of mine.”

Along with the skeleton, Lytworx has also brought a Motion Activated Night Dragon, and a Halloween Ghoul Witch. Similar to the Skeleton, the Ghoul Witch and their haunted pumpkin also have spooky, but slightly less friendly lines. The Witch’s phrases include;

“You can’t be too careful, there seem to be lots of creeps out tonight. Yeah, there’s one right behind you. Hah! Made you look.”

The scale is a bit off with the Dragon coming in at 1.8m tall, and the Witch at 2.1m, but the Dragon makes up for its height with a moving head, wings, and a guttural growl.

Old Bones, and his mates over here can stand on their own two feet, but will need to be connected to a power source, and will set you back $399.
