Telstra is offering Aussies the chance to pay just one dollar for one month of internet as part of its EOFY deals.
Kicking off from this week, the provider is offering discounts for both its internet and mobile customers.
If you fall into the former camp, the most eye-catching promotion here is the aforementioned opportunity to pay $1 for your first month with any of Telstra's NBN plans. This deal expires on 30 June 2025. You can find a list of eligible plans in the widget below.
The only catch here is that the discounted price only sticks around for that first month.
After that, you'll be subject to the usual price attached to whatever plan you choose and, just in case you forgot, it's worth remember that a number of Telstra's NBN plans are set to rise in price on 1 July 2025.

Although Telstra's 5G Home Internet plans aren't subject to the above promotion, its Satellite NBN plans are.
Rather than the usual $125, you're paying just $1 plus the cost of the Starlink Starter Kit ($549) itself. This is cheaper than what Starlink charges for its own Residential plan but it does come with a much lower ceiling when it comes download speeds.
Where Telstra's Starlink-powered internet plan caps out at download speeds of 50Mbps and upload speeds of 10Mbps, signing up for Starlink directly means getting download speeds as fast as 100Mbps and upload speed as high as 30Mbps

Telstra's mobile customers also have the chance to save on the provider's most expensive SIM only plan. The Telstra Premium Upfront SIM plan is usually priced at $99 per month and includes unlimited local talk and text plus 300GB of data per month and uncapped 5G connectivity powered by the largest mobile network in Australia.
If you sign up before 30 June 2025, you'll save $20 per month for the first twelve months and pay $79 per month instead of the usual price.

Last but not least, Telstra is also offering discounts on a number of mobile devices. The savings found here take the form of a monthly discount on the hardware fees you pay when you buy a phone on a plan.
For example, if you pick up the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra on a 36-month plan through Telstra during this EOFY promo period you'll pay just $49.80 per month in hardware fees rather than $59.69 per month. Over the course of a full term, that $13.89 you're saving every month will add up to $500 off the RRP of the device.
The exact amount of money you can save here varies from device to device. Those sizing up the new iPhone 16 family are looking at up to $250 in savings while those who pick up a Pixel 9 can save as much as $850 off the usual RRP.
The full list of discounted devices is as follows:
- iPhone 16 Pro Max (Save $250 on a plan or $100 outright)
- iPhone 16 Pro (Save $250 on a plan or $100 outright)
