Snooker, billiards and pool are similar games that can be played on much the same table. The big difference is the size of the table and the number of balls involved. Pool and snooker are global sports which, not so many years ago, were easy to stream with a Kayo Sports or Foxtel Now subscription. Fast-forward to more recent times, though, and watching snooker online in Australia isn’t as straightforward as signing up to one of the popular streaming services.

Thankfully, there are other ways to get your live pool and snooker hit.

Pocket snooker live streams with Matchroom Live.

The most straightforward way to watch snooker and pool online is with a Matchroom Live subscription. This sports-streaming service is home to snooker, pool, boxing, darts and poker, among others.

The free one is BBC iPlayer, which has a mix of live and on-demand snooker coverage. Use one of the VPNs below for fast streaming of BBC iPlayer content by connecting to a UK server:

The other alternative is to connect to a server in the US or Canada to access DAZN for snooker and pool streams. DAZN costs $13.99 per month (30 days’ notice required to cancel) choose from two annual options: one for $7.99 per month or another for $74.99 per year. While we don’t use DAZN to test the VPNs we review, consider the following options for ones that work well with US streaming services:
