Cygnett is making a move into the magnetic portable charger conversation with the new MagSlim Power Bank.

Shown at this year’s IFA conference in Berlin, the brand’s newest portable charger is available both with or without a screen. Regardless of which you settle on, you’ll be able to find both varieties in either 5000mAh or 10,000Ah sizes.

What’s here isn’t all that different from other magnetic wireless power solutions, but the overall look and design is very much consistent with previous and current Cygnett power banks

The MagSlim Power Bank is shaped like a thin metal square and features a single USB-C port that can be used for both input and output. Performance-wise, it offers between 10W and 15W fast-charging depending on the model and can charge two devices at once.

The version of the MagSlim Power Bank that comes with a screen weighs slightly more than 100g while the one that lacks an LED display sits slightly under that figure.

The hardware here is also MagSafe Compatible, so it will play nice with both Android and iOS devices. However, it isn’t Qi 2 so you won’t get access to those faster wireless charging speeds.

When it lands on Australian shores, the Cygnett MagSlim Power Bank will start at $69.99.

Disclosure: Reviews.org Australia attended IFA 2024 with the support of ECOVACS, and Roborock.
