Roborock has unveiled its slick new flagship Saros series ahead of this year's CES. The range includes three main characters (the Saros Z70, Saros 10, and Saros 10R), but the Saros Z70 is no doubt the star of the show.

With its “industry-leading” HyperForce suction, Roborock says that the Z70 is built to leave your home free from debris. It’s the first-of-its-kind mass-produced robot vacuum with an OmniGrip robotic arm. Not only can it identify obstacles, but this robovac will literally clean up after you.

When it encounters a small item, like a hand towel or a small shoe (sorry, Doc Martens owners), it’ll deploy its built-in OmniGrip robotic arm and drop it to a location of your choosing. If you have the time, you could even get the Z70 to transport all of your small clothing items to the laundry to lighten the load. Even though Fallout’s Mister Handy robot butler hasn’t hit stores just yet, the Saros Z70 might be the next best thing.

The OmniGrip can even be combined with the FlexiArm brush that extends out the side, allowing the Saros Z70 to clean hard-to-reach corners and edges.

Although the Saros 10 and 10R aren’t quite as flexible or handy, they are Roborock’s skinniest vacuums to date at an ultra-slim 7.98cm.

The Saros 10 also features Roborock’s RetractSense Navigation System. This builds on its existing laser distance sensor technology (LDS) to detect obstacles and instead of bumping into or avoiding your low-clearance furniture, it retracts inwards. The Saros 10 can also play nice with Roborock’s latest VibraRise mopping module, which uses sonic vibration technology to deep clean your floors.

Meanwhile, the Saros 10R thrives (and relies) on the new StarSight Autonomous System. According to Roborock, the autonomous vacuum uses dual-light 3D Time-of-Flight tech and an AI RGB camera to create a 3D map of its surroundings. Using this cheat-sheet, it’s able to offer more reliable obstacle avoidance and smooth navigation when it comes to tight spots and awkward corners.

The Saros 10R also uses LDS technology to identify and pass under low-clearance areas, so it should save you the trouble of having to move your lounge whenever you want to vacuum underneath it.

The range is expected to hit Australian shores in the first half of 2025, with pricing announced closer to launch.
