What is Only Murders In The Building about?

Created by John Hoffman and comedy great Steve Martin, Only Murders in the Building is an original comedy-mystery series that premiered on Hulu in 2021. The series follows three strangers— Mabel (Selena Gomez), Oliver (Martin Short), and Charles (Steve Martin)— who live in the same building with a shared love of true crime podcasts. A murder in their apartment building brings the three strangers together as they investigate the death of Mabel's friend, inspiring the three to start their own true crime podcast. Seasons one and two are already available, but season three premieres in August 2023, and guest stars Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd. Here's the official synopsis for season 3:

"Season three finds Charles, Oliver & Mabel (played by Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez) investigating a murder behind the scenes of a Broadway show. Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd) is a Hollywood action star whose Broadway debut is cut short by his untimely death. Aided by co-star Loretta Durkin (Meryl Streep), our trio embarks on their toughest case yet, all while director Oliver desperately attempts to put his show back together"

What is Disney Plus?

Disney Plus is the premiere streaming service from the media juggernaut. It was released in late 2019 and hit the ground running with popular original series like The Mandalorian and Wandavision, and has continued to pump out originals from its growing portfolio of franchises. After Disney’s acquisition of Fox, Disney Plus Star was added to the service, increasing the amount of more mature outings on the service from Fox’s range of properties (Alien, Predator, Die Hard etc.)

Disney Plus starts at $13.99 per month for the standard plan. This cheaper option lets you stream in up to HD quality in up to two places at once. The more expensive premium plan doubles that and upgrades the resolution to 4K.
