It's been a while since Fetch users have had something to look forward to but as the Australian-owned entertainment brand kicks off what it calls "Fetch 2.0," those with a Fetch TV Mighty or Mini will be getting a small selection of games to play on their hardware.

In partnership with Play.Works, Fetch TV will launch Fetch Games, a selection of 30 free games to its hardware users.

What games will be coming to Fetch?

The mob responsible for bringing games to Fetch, Play.Work, have a history working with international brands like Roku and Comcast, delivering some 400+ games to smart TVs and streaming devices in North America and the UK.

It's an interesting collection of games on offer, ranging from Bandai-Namco classics like Pac-Man, Centipede and Breakout, alongside modern mobile hits like Trivia Crack and Doodle Jump, and then a lot of lesser-known titles, such as The Jimi Hendrix Experience (a Hendrix-themed virtual slot machine,) Burger (a game about making burgers,) and last but not least, PuppyMerge, a Cronenberg-esque title where you merge puppies to create the fastest animals known to man.

Fetch Games are all designed to be played with your existing remote and are compatible with all Fetch devices after the Gen 3 Mini.

It's certainly not going to get you to run out and buy a Fetch TV device but the enduring Foxtel alternative is still a good option for those looking for a good Internet and TV bundle. Here's a small selection of Telstra NBN plans that you can bundle Fetch with.
