One day before the official reveal, every colour option for the Samsung Galaxy S21 range was leaked online by Twitter user Roland Quandt. The lovely line-up of eleven different colours had some interesting variants, notably a vivid red and a leathery brown and all donned the same prefix, Phantom. We assumed at the time that Australia would only get a small selection of the colours available, and while that's true if you plan on getting the Galaxy S21 on a plan through Optus, Telstra, Vodafone or Woolworths Mobile, customers who pre-order through Samsung's online store will have a much wider palette to choose from.

The Galaxy S21 Plus is the bridge between the vibrant colours of the S21 and the subdued palette of the S21 Ultra. It’s available in five colours and is the only handset available in that jazzy red. Phantom Red and Gold are exclusive to Samsung's online store, while Black, Silver and Violet are all available on a plan. Head to our guide on the best Samsung Galaxy S21 Plus plans for more information on pre-order bonuses (including bonus Galaxy Buds Live).

Lastly, there’s the S21 Ultra which has three exclusive colour options: Navy, Brown and Titanium. All of the options look pretty slick, if a little dour. If you prefer a funner more vivid finish, you might want to shop for a more colourful case to add a splash of colour to your S21 Ultra. Phantom Titanium, Navy and Brown are all exclusive to Samsung's online store, whereas Phantom Black and Phantom White are available on a plan.
