In July last year Kmart came out with the the Air Styler - a Dyson Airwrap dupe, and its latest hair dryer is following the same pattern.

The High Power Hair Dryer - Lilac bears quite the resemblance to the Dyson Supersonic Nural hair dryer. Both have a similar shape and control panel, the Anko product has the same 1600W wattage as the Nural, both have temperature regulation technology, and the purple styler also has a similar LED temperature indicator on the butt of the dryer.

While the Dyson's temperature regulation uses a time of flight sensor to maintain a 55°C temperature, Kmart is a bit shadier around the details. Still the LED indicator will light up blue when it is on the cool setting, orange on low, and red on high. Dyson's similar indicator uses blue to show that scalp protect is enabled, yellow for low heat, orange for medium, and red for high.

The Nural comes with three styling attachments, including a diffuser while Anko's budget choice only has a concentrator nozzle. Both do have magnetic attachments though.

Kmart's lilac styler is the newest iteration of it's High Power Dryer which we compared to the Dyson Nural when it was released in 2024. With the addition of the LED indicator, the device is even more similar now, and retails for just $49 which is $10 cheaper than the initial High Power Dryer at its release. For comparison, the Dyson Nural was $749 at release, and still holds that price point.

At the same time the Dryer was released last year, Anko's $59 Air Styler also gained virality and subsequently sold out in a matter of days. If you're interested in nabbing the latest Dyson dupe you'll want to get in quick.
