When it arrives, you'll be able to find Neuromancer on Apple TV Plus.
How to watch Neuromancer when it airs

After inspiring countless other books, comics, films, art and video games in the decades since it was first published, the cyberpunk novel that started it all is finally getting a proper live action adaptation of its own.
With Callum Turner (Masters of the Air) in the lead role as a hacker who gets in too deep, Neuromancer promises to bring Gibson's dystopian vision of a world where ruthless megacorporations rule the physical world but hackers

How to watch Neuromancer online in Australia
Neuromancer is an Apple TV Plus Original and therefore exclusive to the streaming service for the foreseeable future. That means that, digitally at least, Apple TV Plus is the only way you will be able to stream Neuromancer online.
Apple TV Plus is a fairly simple pitch: $12.99 per month for 4K streaming on six devices (via Apple's Family Sharing.) It's a month-to-month arrangement and comes with a 7-day free trial (plenty of time to watch Neuromancer if that's all you're after.)

What is Neuromancer about?
Based on the novel of the same name, the plot of Neuromancer probably sounds a lot like every other cyberpunk story you've ever come across. The main reason for that is that it's widely regarded as the novel that started the science fiction subgenre.
According to Apple:
At the time of writing, Neuromancer has been greenlit for a single season. That initial run will consist of eight episodes.
It's not yet clear if the Apple TV Plus adaptation of Neuromancer will look to adapt the other two novels in Gibson's Sprawl trilogy (Count Zero and Mona Lisa Overdrive). We'll have to wait and see.
Compare streaming services
Neuromancer is only the latest in a long line of great science fiction series available on Apple TV Plus. If you're after more Gibson adaptations though, Prime Video might be a better bet. The Peripheral only ran for a single season but given that it is also based on a William Gibson novel that depicts a world where the lines between the virtual and real are blurred by the relationship we have with technology, chances are that some aspects of that setting are likely to be reminiscent of the one depicted in the upcoming Neuromancer TV show.
If your tastes extend beyond that though, it may be worth shopping around. See how Apple TV Plus, Binge and Foxtel Now compare against other major streaming services below.
