Amazon Prime’s Free One-Day Delivery expands to more Australian regions

One of the key benefits of being a paid Amazon Prime subscriber is the Free One-Day Shipping perk. That convenience and quick turnaround are part of what made Amazon the monolithic online marketplace that it is today. The problem is that Australia is a big country, with golden soil and wealth for toil. The sheer size of our global footprint has made it a little hard for Amazon to promise Free One-Day Shipping to many Australians living outside of select postcodes in Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. 

Today Amazon Australia announced expanded eligibility for Free One-Day shipping to more regions in Australia. Those living in the Blue Mountains, Canberra, Gold Coast, Mornington Peninsula and the Sunshine Coast may now be eligible for Free One-Day Shipping. The expanded coverage doesn't include every postcode but most areas from the regions listed now have access to the super fast online shopping perk. Check Amazon's website to see if your postcode is included. 

Amazon Prime costs $9.99 per month in Australia, or $79 per year if you pay annually. That gets you a long list of Prime Shopping perks (dependent on your location,) and instant access to a range of streaming and entertainment subscriptions: Prime Video, Prime Music, Prime Gaming and Prime Reading.
