Sneaking in before the End of Financial Year, Disney is doing a solid deal on its Standard HD plan. For a limited time, you can get four months of Disney Plus Standard for $4.99 per month, which works out at about 69% off the first four months. That’s a spicy meatball.
From the fifth month onwards, subscribers will pay the regular $15.99 per month fee (or $159.99 for the entire year).
It’s only four months but that’s plenty of time to catch up on both seasons of Andor, stream Captain America: Brave New World and to rewatch M. Night Shyamalan’s The Happening, which is inexplicably trending on the service at the time of writing. If you’re only in it for the discount, just remember to cancel before your four months is up, otherwise you’ll end up paying $15.99 per month.
This deal ends on the 11th of June and is only available on the Disney Plus Standard tier, which offers HD streaming on two devices. There’s no discount on the Premium plan, which offers 4K streaming on four devices. It’s also only available on the monthly Disney Plus Standard plan and won’t be applicable if you sign up to a year of Standard, which still works out cheaper than paying monthly.
The $4.99 Disney Plus deal is available to new customers and "eligible returning customers," which usually means you have to have been unsubcribed for some time.
