Vodafone might have the smallest range of new Pixel phones this time around, but the provider is looking to make up for that frugality with a deal that's fantastic for those who have been putting off picking up a PlayStation 5.

For the next week, Aussies who opt to pair up the new Pixel 10 Pro XL with any of the Vodafone mobile plans in the widget below will score themselves a PS5 Slim Digital Edition console at no additional cost.

In a press release announcing the promotion, a Vodafone spokesperson cited both the cost of living and Sony's recent move to raise prices in Australia. Back in April, the console maker raised the price of the PS5 Digital Edition by $70. This move brought the total price-tag of the cheapest PS5 model upwards from $679 to $749.

"The Pixel 10 Pro XL delivers Google’s most powerful features yet, and paired with the PS5’s stunning visuals, immersive haptics and ultra-fast load times, this is one of the most exciting bundles we’ve ever offered," they said.

In addition to this deal expiring on 27 August 2025, the other caveat here is that your free PS5 will be shipped out within 60 days of your preorder being confirmed. If you cancel before then you won't get your console.

As usual, Vodafone isn't the only one pairing the Pixel 10 Pro XL with a preorder bonus. Both Telstra and Optus are running their own respective promotions for the new device as well, with the former knocking $500 off the price for those who preorder while latter is offering $600 instead.
