Samsung has teed up a timeline for the debut of its next set of foldable smartphones.

As per a teaser released earlier today, the company's next Galaxy Unpacked hardware showcase is slated to take place at 12:00AM (AEST) on 10 July 2025. The physical event will take place in New York, but Samsung fans (and journalists) who can't attend in person will be able to tune in and follow all the announcements via livestream.

Although Samsung hasn't said much about what specifically to expect from the event, the timing more-or-less gives the game away. This upcoming incarnation of Unpacked is slated to take place almost exactly a year after the one that announced the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Galaxy Z Fold 6

Given that Samsung typically kicks off the second half of the year with an update to its foldable line, it seems like a safe bet that we'll learn more about the Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Galaxy Z Flip 7 in the second week of July. Past that, Samsung's Galaxy Watch, Galaxy Buds and Galaxy Ring are all due for an update. We might even learn more about Project Moohan - Samsung's bid to build a competitor to the Apple Vision Pro headset.

In any case, we won't have to wait long to learn more about the smartphones, gadgets and other goodies that Samsung plans to ship before the holiday season kicks off in full. Stay tuned.
