Bad news: sibling telcos Dodo and iPrimus have raised their NBN prices.
Two more NBN providers have hiked their prices

These changes kick in from this week, with the Dodo's cheapest fixed-line and fixed wireless NBN plans now starting at $64.99 per month (excluding promo pricing). For a quick snapshot of how these changes have changed the provider's roster of internet plans, check out the table below.
Dodo NBN plan price changes
As you can see, the largest prices rises here have been reserved for Dodo's NBN 15 and NBN 100 plans. By contrast, those on one of Dodo's NBN 50 or NBN 250 plans have skated by with the smallest hikes.
Meanwhile, iPrimus' cheapest NBN plan has also gone up. For a snapshot of these changes and how they compare to iPrimus' old pricing, check out the table below.
iPrimus NBN plan price changes
iPrimus' faster NBN 100 and NBN 250 plans are subject to the smallest price hikes while its cheapest plans are being hit by the biggest ones. The only silver lining is that iPrimus' NBN 1000 plan is now $5 cheaper than it used to.
These pricing increases come after NBN Co increased its wholesale prices at the start of this month, which nudged the cost it charges internet retailers like Aussie Broadband, Belong, Tangerine and Telstra upwards by a few bucks depending on the speed tier.
Asked for comment, Dodo spokesperson confirmed to Reviews.org that increased wholesale costs were a factor in its decision to raise prices.
If you're an existing Dodo or iPrimus customer who had these changes sprung on you and are now looking to change up your provider as a result, nobody would blame you. It doesn't hurt that changing your NBN plan is one of the best ways to save money on the cost of your internet because most providers tend to offer their deepest discounts to new customers rather than loyal ones.
