Now, nearly ten years later, Riley (and everyone inside) is up against a whole new set of challenges that being a thirteen-year-old brings with it.

After a strong run at the cinemas back in June, Inside Out 2 is now streaming on Disney Plus and available for digital purchase and rental. Disney Plus doesn't offer a free trial but it does offer two plans at $13.99 and $17.99 per month.

What is Inside Out 2 about?
Joy and friends are joined by a complex new gang of emotions.
Where the first Inside Out followed 11-year-old Riley's upheaval from Minnesota to San Francisco, and how her emotions (Joy, Sadness, Fear, Disgust and Anger) deal with the change. Inside Out 2 begins with Riley, now thirteen years old, well and truly settled into her home in San Francisco with a solid group of friends and some mad Ice Hockey skills.
When Riley and her two best friends are invited to a weekend away at an Ice Hocket camp (where tryouts for their school's team take place,) an unfortunately timed 'puberty alarm' welcomes a new group of more complex emotions; Anxiety, Envy, Ennui and Embarrasment. When Joy's unwavering optimism gets Riley in trouble, Anxiety takes over the control centre at headquarters, putting Riley in danger.
