MSI is looking to walk the line between professionals and content creators with its new Venture and VenturePro laptops.

Debuting at this year’s CES in Las Vegas, the range comes in sizes as small as 14-inches and as large as 17-inches. Under the hood, you’re getting the latest in Intel Core Ultra and AMD Ryzen AI 7 CPUs.

“Designed for professionals and creators, the VenturePro series is equipped with powerful CPUs and the latest discrete NVIDIA GPUs. Its high-performance capabilities allow professionals to easily manage light creative tasks and efficiently complete a variety of work projects, making it a reliable tool for boosting productivity,” the company said.

Alongside the new laptops, MSI is also introducing a new MSI AI Robot software package that integrates and relies on a small language model to offer a suite of local AI features and functionality.

As for the difference between the Venture and Venture Pro, the latter features a “exclusive battery boost” that translates into an additional four-to-five hours of everyday usage according to MSI. The other big thing you get for going pro is an Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 4060 GPUs. That's not the next big thing but it is sure to make the hardware here that much better for on-the-go content creation.

In any case, the specs tell most of the story here. Check out the table for a snapshot of how the new MSI Venture and VenturePro Series compare.
