ASUS’ overclocked gaming tablet is coming back into style in 2025.

The revamped version of the ROG Flow Z13 features a new AMD chipset, a redesigned PCB and motherboard layout that squeezes more tech into less space, larger fans and a bigger battery. In short, this is a lot more than a spec bump though the speeds and feeds listed here are certain to be an improvement over the hardware found in the tablet's 2022 incarnation.

That's also the case for the screen involved. The 13.4-inch display here is roughly the same size and resolution as its predecessor but clocked at a much higher 180Hz. It also offers 500 nits of brightness and comes clad in Gorilla Glass 5 for added durability. It also comes complemented by detachable keyboard with a larger touchpad and keycaps.

Despite the CNC-milled chassis, the new ROG Flow Z13 itself weighs just 1.2kg. At its thinnest, it’s around 12mm thick.  What’s more, the ROG Flow Z13 actually packs in a surprising amount of ports.

The left-side is host to a pair of USB-C ports, a HDMI output and a 200W power adapter used for charging. Speaking of, the tablet now supports faster fast-charging that’ll get you from a flat battery to half-charge in just thirty minutes. Meanwhile, the right side of the Flow Z13 is home to a headphone jack, USB-A port and a MicroSD slot.

No word on Australian availability and pricing for this one just yet but stay tuned.

Disclosure: Reviews.org Australia and Safewise Australia's coverage of CES 2025 is supported by MSI, Belkin, Ecovacs, Roborock and Reolink.
