While the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra were the headline act of Samsung's latest Unpacked hardware showcase, the company also took the time to tease a new fourth flagship handset.

Branded as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, there's not much to say about this one at this stage other than the fact that it exists and that it's almost certainly intended to be pitched as a rival to the rumored iPhone 17 Air.

Aside from the name, Samsung also showed a short hype reel of the device being assembled. While it seems likely that the Galaxy S25 Edge will offer an even thinner form-factor than the Galaxy S25 Series (which is already being billed as Samsung's slimmest line of Galaxy devices to date), there's no word yet on specs and pricing.

According to Android Authority, the handset will be rolled out to selected markets. We'll have to wait and see whether Australia makes the cut.

If you don't feel like waiting though, the Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus and Galaxy S25 Ultra are available to preorder from today ahead of a 14 February 2025 launch.

The Galaxy S25 starts at $1399, the Galaxy S25 Plus starts at $1699 and the Galaxy S25 Ultra starts at $2149. All three devices will be available outright, via retail and through major carriers like Optus, Telstra and Vodafone. If you preorder any of the three, you'll score a free storage upgrade on top of any other bonuses or incentives your provider of choice is shopping around.
