Vodafone just knocked $500 off Google’s best smartphone

The Pixel 8 family may still be factory fresh, but Vodafone is already offering deep discounts on Google's latest handsets. Customers who take up a Pixel 8 on a phone plan will save $300 over their repayment period, which increases to $500 on the Pixel 8 Pro. 

This works out to be the equivalent of saving $12.50 per month on a 24-month plan if you're considering the Pixel 8, or $20.83 per month on the Pixel 8 Pro. 

This deal can be stacked with the $5 per month discount Vodafone is running on all of its postpaid mobile plans, increasing the savings.

Vodafone's mobile plans are contract-free, but you'll need to pay out the remaining value of your Pixel 8 or Pixel 8 Pro if you leave early. You'll also forfeit the value of the discount on your remaining repayments.
