Well, folks. That's a wrap, as they say in the show business. The shiny men from the 97th Academy Awards (the Oscars) have all been awarded. There were some undisputed choices, such as the Anora/Mikey Madison/Sean Baker awards, and some more debatable decisions (such as not giving Jeremy Strong the Best Supporting Actor award for his performance in The Apprentice.) But all in all, it was maybe the most agreeable Academy Awards since Parasite took the gong back in 2020. 

Now that Hollywood's night of nights has rolled credits, it's time to begin the annual tradition of actually watching the movies that were nominated.
