The iPhone 17 isn't hitting store shelves for another week but there's already a great way to save on Apple's latest stack of smartphones.

Just like last year, Vodafone is offering a pre-order promotion that lets you score a generous $1,200 in credit when you pre-order any member of the iPhone 17 family and pair it up with the provider's $79 promo plan. This credit takes the form of a $33.34 per month discount on your handset fees that is paid out over a 36-month term.

Vodafone's $79 Promo plan comes with 500GB of monthly excess-charge free data, unlimited international calls to zone 1 destinations, 100 minutes of international calls to zone 2 destinations, and the option to add international roaming for just $5 per day.

Paired up with the cheapest version of the iPhone 17, you'd be looking at just $199 in handset fees total. More expensive models like the iPhone Air or the iPhone 17 Pro will cost you more in handset fees, but the savings are nothing to sneeze at.

Leaving early means forfeiting the remainder of the credit and having to pay an extra $33 or so per month remaining in that 36-month period. Still, if you're happy to play by those rules then this is a great option to consider if you're in the market for a new iPhone and happy to go with Vodafone. This offer ends on 14 October 2025.

Those who trade-in an older eligible iPhone can save even more, with Vodafone offering an extra $200 in trade-in value up through 11 November 2025.

If you'd prefer to pair the new iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max or iPhone Air up with a cheaper Vodafone plan and pocket the change instead, the provider is also offering discounts on its other plans.

The $53 Small Plan is being reduced to $45 per month, the $63 Medium Plan is being reduced to $50 per month, and the $73 Large Plan is being reduced to $55 per month. These discounts will stick around for the price of the plan and can be used in conjunction with the trade-in deal listed above. However, this offer expires on 30 October 2025.
