With Binge and Foxtel in the process of being acquired and a local launch of Max looming on the horizon, it's a weird time to try and track down and stream anything attached to Warner Bros.

What's more, it's getting weirder by the day. About a month back, the storied studio behind Hollywood hits like Batman, Harry Potter and Dune started uploading its back catalog to a YouTube channel.

The library here isn't huge, but is eclectic. There's indie gems, a handful of horror flicks and a classic or two. At the time of writing, you can find just shy of two dozen films to watch on the Warner Bros YouTube channel. The full list list includes:

  • The 11th Hour
  • The Wind and the Lion
  • True Stories
  • Crossing Delancey
  • The Bonfire of the Vanities
  • Return of the Living Dead Part II
  • Lionheart
  • Mutiny on the Bounty
  • The Science of Sleep
  • Murder in the First
  • The Accidental Tourist
  • City Heat
  • December Boys
  • SubUrbia
  • Flight of the Living Dead
  • Waiting for Guffman
  • Critters 4
  • Mr. Nice Guy
  • Michael Collins
  • Chaos Theory with Ryan Reynolds
  • Dungeons & Dragons
  • Price of Glory

The main selling point here is that you don't pay a cent to watch any of the above. You don't even have to sign into YouTube, though you will be in for a few ads if you aren't signed up for YouTube Premium.

Still, in a time when every streaming service seems to be raising it's prices it's nice to see that there are still some options out there for those looking to save a few bucks. It ain't the place to go for the latest and greatest but if you're looking for something to watch for free on a Friday night then it might be worth taking a look to see what Warner Bros YouTube channel has to offer.
