Best internet deals in Gainesville, FL

Written by Brenna Elieson. Last updated: September 16, 2025.

With plans starting at just $50 a month, I think AT&T Fiber is perfect for anyone on a budget, like UF students. If you're like me and hate when "budget" plans come with hidden catches, this feels refreshingly straightforward.

I also like AT&T's Refer-a-Friend program, since it can cover part of your bill just for spreading the word. For each new customer that uses your referral code to sign up for AT&T Fiber or Wireless, AT&T gives you a bill credit. So if you’re particularly good at referring people, you can save a ton.

Limited-time deal: Get up to $150 via reward card with select AT&T Fiber plans. Expires 09/30/25.

AT&T Fiber deals:

  • Get an extra $50 reward card with coupon code EXTRA50 at checkout
  • Get six months of free AT&T Fiber service when you buy a device and bundle with AT&T Wireless
  • $55/mo. starting plan
  • AT&T Refer-a-Friend
  • $30/mo. AT&T Access plan available for qualifying households

I found that T-Mobile 5G Home Internet offers $15 in monthly savings to customers also signed up for eligible T-Mobile cell phone plans. I love a built-in deal that saves you money each month. But even if you don't have a T-Mobile cell phone plan, I've found plenty of other deals worth checking out.

T-Mobile also offers a five-year price guarantee, meaning that no matter which plan you buy, the monthly rate stays the same for a minimum of 60 months. Only recently have I seen a price guarantee that long. And since there are no contracts or cancellation fees, you can leave at will after your price guarantee expires. Check out T-Mobile's best internet deals below or find more savings in this guide to all T-Mobile Home Internet deals.

Limited-time deal: Get a $200 or $300 gift card when you switch to T-Mobile 5G Home Internet.

T-Mobile 5G Home Internet deals:

  • $15 off with an eligible T-Mobile cell phone plan
  • Five-year price guarantee
  • Hulu (With Ads) and Paramount+ Essentials subscriptions included with All-In plan
  • No contracts
  • No cancellation fees

Cox Internet also offers service in Tree City and beyond, and I found a deal similar to T-Mobile's: You can get a $120/year discount and a five-year price guarantee with Cox's 2 Gig plan.

If you don't need a top-tier plan, I found that you can get $15 off a single line when you get both internet and phone services. Cox also offers free Panoramic Wi-Fi equipment with each of its internet plans. (For some plans, this promotion lasts two years only; for others, it lasts indefinitely. Check the terms when you sign up so you know what to expect.)

Limited-time deal: Get a $120/year discount and a five-year price guarantee with Cox's 2 Gig plan.

Cox Internet deals:

  • Get up to $125 via Prepaid digital Mastercard for each friend you refer to Cox
  • $70 for Fast plan with two BYOD BOGO phone lines
  • $15 off with both internet and phone
  • Free Panoramic Wi-Fi equipment
