Fidium Fiber offers four different fiber plans ranging from 100Mbps to 2,000Mbps. Expect prices between $30 to $90 per month for the first twelve months (autopay and paperless billing required as well). Then the price jumps about $20 after the first year promo price ends, which is significant but at least Fidium specifically discloses the price jump during your online checkout. The price you see is the price you’ll pay (according to the broadband facts). But there is one extra fee for some New Hampshire communities called the Fiber Infrastructure Build Recovery Fee that ranges from $7 to $14.

Fidium Fiber pros:

  • No annual contract (no early termination fees)
  • No data caps (no overage fees)
  • Free professional installation
  • No equipment fee with your own equipment
  • No need to bundle services for extra discounts

Fidium Fiber cons:

  • Equipment monthly rental fees
  • $20 price hikes after 12 months on all plans
  • Extremely-limited availability (currently available in eight states)

Is Fidium Fiber internet in your area?

Fidium Fiber internet offers its multigigabit fiber plans to eight states including California, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Vermont. Check your zip code below to see local plans and prices.

Which Fidium Fiber internet speed is right for you?

Recommended speed

While Fidium’s official site highlights its 1 Gig Supreme plan as its most popular one, it’s best for you to know that its 300Mbps Advanced plan is actually perfectly sufficient for most families. We recommend the 300Mbps fiber plan for medium households that want to stream, work from home, and do other basic internet activities.

Here’s how to get the best Fidium Fiber internet deals

1
Enable autopay and paperless billing

While $5 per month may not seem like a significant discount, it can add up when you’re first signing up for Fidium Fiber. Along with the $15 online discount and the $20 discount for the first year, that $5 also discounts your bill even further.

2
Consider a smaller speed

There’s no doubt that a Fidium Fiber rep will try to sell you on the 2 Gigs Futuristic plan. Here’s the thing—your equipment may not be suited to deliver such high speeds. And most people don’t need 2 Gigs. Unless you have a heavy-data job downloading huge files all day, or you’re an influencer or gamer who needs huge bandwidth, 2 Gigs is overkill. If you don’t rely on work from home, a 100Mbps fiber connection may even be sufficient. You can always upgrade if it’s not enough.

3
Re-consider Fidium Fiber after a year

Fidium Fiber may be an amazing fit for one year. But it’s always good to check what other internet options are available in your area after a year when a $20 price hike is about to hit your monthly bill. You could always call a Fidium rep and ask to extend the promo pricing. Or you could see if a better and more affordable home internet option has made itself available to you.
