Best Triple Play Value: Vantage TV Extreme + Vantage 300/300 + Vantage Voice Unlimited

Everything you need, and probably a little more.

Best Triple Play Bundle Value
PlanPriceTV channel countInternet download speedDetails

Pros

  • Internet for everybody
  • Favorite channels
  • Unlimited phone calls

Cons

  • Not particularly cheap

This is a Frontier bundle that makes a lot of sense for families or apartments with a few roommates. You can easily share 300 Mbps of internet speed with multiple people, and you’ll never run out of things to watch.

If this doesn’t make for a happy household, then we don’t know what to tell you.

What we like

On the spectrum of Frontier internet bundles, the Vantage TV Extreme + Vantage 300/300 + Vantage Voice Unlimited bundle is one of the best. You have basically every channel you can name and internet speeds that can keep a whole household connected.

All the channels (pretty much)

There’s something for everyone in this Frontier TV bundle. First off, you get sports channels like ESPN, TNT, and even the SEC Network. But even if you’re not a sports fan, you’ve still got options. Great ones.

Light Bulb icon
Oh, you’re not interested in sports?
Okay, it’s got lifestyle channels like HGTV, Food Network, and VH1.

Oh, you have kids that need entertaining? You’ve got Nickelodeon, Disney Channel, and Cartoon Network.

*Snaps suspenders and leans back in chair* I rest my case. You’ve got over 390 channels to choose from, so you’re bound to find something.

Easily enough internet to share

With 300 Mbps of internet speed, you’ll have no problem sharing a household full of streamers, gamers, and online shoppers. You could easily share a consistent internet connection with 4–5 users at the same time.

If you have a smaller household, or if you don’t see yourself using the internet too often, you could always opt for less internet firepower.

Reliable home phone line

This Frontier bundle comes with a home phone line with unlimited calls in the United States and Canada.

Info Box icon
Why would I want a home phone line?
A lot of people don’t use home phone lines anymore, but they can come in handy when mobile service drops or if you live in an area with bad weather.

What we don’t like

This is a pricey Frontier bundle. You can reduce your internet speed or channel count and pay less with a different Frontier TV bundle. You’ll just need to live with a little less.

Best Double Play Value: America’s Top 250 + Simply Broadband Velocity

Popular channels with decent internet speed.

America's Top 250 + Simply Broadband Velocity$138/mo.290+115 MbpsView Plan

Pros

  • Popular channels covered
  • Decent internet speed for 1-2 people

Cons

  • No phone line

How do you feel about Dish Network? This Frontier bundle partners with Dish Network to hook you up with over 290 channels (though some of those are music channels). For the record, we really like Dish Network, plus you can pretty much get it anywhere.

What we like

This Frontier bundle strikes a nice balance between having plenty of TV to watch and enough internet speed to keep you entertained when TV gets boring.

More like 290 channels

Even though this Frontier bundle makes it sound like you’re getting 250 channels (America’s Top 250), you actually get closer to 290 channels. It would be tough to think of a channel that doesn’t come included.

You get all the TV essentials
There’s ESPN, Disney Channel, and HGTV, but you even get the niche channels, like Fusion, beIN Sports, and the Cooking Channel. Whatever you want to watch on live television, chances are you’ll find it here.

Manageable internet for 1–2 people

With one to two people, you should be just fine with 45 Mbps of internet speed. You should be able to stream, game, and browse without much disruption. Of course, things could get hairy if you add too many people and your bandwidth gets stretched too thin.

But if you and a partner want basic internet that you can share and that won’t break the bank, 45 Mbps is a reasonable number.

What we don’t like

This Frontier internet bundle is a double play situation, which means it doesn’t come with a home phone line. If you need a home phone line take a look at a triple play bundle.

But if you’re just fine with your cell phone, you can save money by sticking with a double play option like this one.

Best Premium Triple Play: Vantage TV Ultimate + Vantage 1G/1G + Vantage Voice Unlimited

A Frontier bundle that’s perfect for your business.

Best Premium Triple Play
PlanPriceTV channel countInternet download speedDetails

Pros

  • Super fast internet
  • Premium channels
  • Unlimited phone calls

Cons

  • Pricey

If you’re paying this much for a Frontier bundle, you should make sure you’re using it to its full potential. You’d probably have a hard time using 1,000 Mbps of internet speed on your own.

What we like

This Frontier internet bundle is pretty loaded in terms of internet speed and TV channels. Yes, you’re paying a pretty penny for it, but you’re getting a lot in return.

Enough internet to run a business

Yes, 1,000 Mbps is a really big number. To put that number in context, you could stream Netflix on 200 different screens (on SD quality) at once under the same Frontier Wi-Fi connection. You can see why this much internet would make sense for a business or public space.

Premium channels included

The beauty of the Vantage TV Ultimate package is that you get premium channels baked in.

Which cool premium channels do I get?
You get channels like SHOWTIME, CINEMAX, and STARZ included. Along with those channels, you’ve got your ESPN, HGTV, and AMC. It’s safe to assume you won’t run out of things to watch.

What we don’t like

The obvious issue here is the price tag. You don’t want to pay that much money for capabilities you won’t really use. But if you want to provide an internet connection for 20+ people, then this bundle should work wonders for you.

Pros

  • 50 Mbps
  • 130+ channels
  • Cheaper price

Cons

  • Missing some channels

Do you know how sometimes a Little Caesar’s pizza is somehow just as good as a more expensive pizza? The cheaper option can still be totally satisfying. It’s equally true with Frontier bundles. You can live the budget lifestyle and still get a Frontier bundle that hooks you up with everything you need.

What we like

The main takeaway from this bundle is the value. You get over 130 channels with an internet speed that should be more than enough for what you want to do.

130+ lifestyle and family channels

Let’s pull the Band-Aid off first: you don’t get local channels or sports channels with this TV package. But many of you couldn’t care less about sports!

You’ll still get AMC, Discovery Channel, Food Network, Disney Channel, and VH1. We both know you can watch endless hours of television on any of those channels.

Enough internet for streamers

For a budget Frontier bundle, you get more than enough internet for basic use. You can easily stream, shop, and game—and share the love with 2–3 other people.

Heads Up icon
Don’t spread the Wi-Fi love too much
Buffering screens shouldn’t happen often as long as you don’t spread the connection across too many folks at once.

What we don’t like

No live sports

For many of us, this fact will end up being a deal breaker. You can only eat at Buffalo Wild Wings so many times before wanting to just watch live sports at home. If you have any interest in watching the NBA, NFL, or MLB, you’ll want to upgrade your Frontier TV bundle.

Alternative picks

Don’t worry—there are many, many Frontier bundles to choose from. We had a hard time narrowing it down to just four, so here are the other Frontier internet bundles that (just barely) didn’t make the cut:
