Visible Wireless offers a cheap and easy way to get unlimited data using Verizon’s powerful network. But some customers have a hard time reaching customer service when something goes wrong with their Visible service.

Don’t stress, we’re here to help. We’ll go over the best ways to reach Visible customer service in this article. We’ll also run through some quick fixes that you can try on your own. Read on and we’ll get you back to texting, chatting, and scrolling in no time.

Visible not cutting it? Try these other prepaid carriers

There are a bunch of other low-cost carriers offering unlimited talk, text, and data plans on a month-to-month basis.

For cheap plans on Verizon's network, we recommend looking at Xfinity Mobile or Twigby Mobile. They offer more affordable options than Visible. Plus, Xfinity Mobile offers multi-line discounts, which is pretty rare for prepaid carriers.

For prepaid plans on T-Mobile's network, check out Boost Mobile, Cricket, or Mint Mobile. We really like Mint's $30 Unlimited plan, which comes with 40GB of high-speed data.

You can also use WhistleOut’s useful plan finding tool to narrow down the best options.

How do I contact Visible Wireless?

Like other discount carriers, Visible has done away with brick-and-mortar stores, meaning that you can’t go talk to someone in person when you’re having issues. But Visible has taken things even a step further: Visible doesn’t even have a phone number!

There are four ways to reach Visible customer service, and they’re all thoroughly 21st century:

While you can’t reach Visible directly by phone, you can request that Visible calls you. To make this request, you must first reach out with one of the methods above.

How do I reach a live agent at Visible?

The best way to reach a real, flesh-and-blood customer service agent with Visible is with the contact methods above. You’ll have to spend a couple of minutes dealing with automated chat systems, but if you request a call back or a live agent in the chat, you should be connected to a human being (or at least a very convincing cyborg).

Troubleshooting Visible network and data issues

If you’re having trouble connecting to the data network with your Visible device, then there are a few easy, DIY fixes. You can try these before reaching out to customer service.

Turn your phone off and then on

You might be surprised at how often this works. Turning your phone all the way off and then back on will reset your device’s connection to the network. This can help if you’ve been having issues receiving texts, making calls, or connecting to the 4G/5G data network.

Heads Up
Maybe the problem is your device . . .

If you’re having consistent issues with your Visible service, the problem might be your phone. Maybe it’s time for an upgrade? Check out the latest discounts and promos on new phones on our deals page!

Check your SIM card

If your SIM card isn’t properly installed in your phone, you won’t be able to connect to Visible’s network. Turn off your phone, open the SIM port, and take out the card. Then put it back in. Turn your phone on to see if that fixed your connection problem.

Check for service outages

If there’s a planned interruption in Visible service then you should receive an alert on your phone. But sometimes unplanned outages can occur. Check Visible’s Twitter account to see if there are any network outages in your area.

Make sure your device is compatible

Visible Wireless only works with certain phones, and it doesn’t work at all with tablets or dedicated mobile hotspot devices. Use Visible’s phone compatibility tool to be sure you’re working with the proper equipment.

Want to see what other cheap carriers have to offer?

Fortunately, there are a bunch of other low-cost carriers offering unlimited talk, text, and data plans on a month to month basis. Check out Boost Mobile, Cricket, or Mint Mobile. You can also use WhistleOut’s useful plan finding tool to narrow down the best options.

If you’re still having issues with your phone after trying these fixes, then you’ll need to reach out to Visible customer service.

How to activate Visible Wireless service

Just like when you pay your Visible bill, you'll use the Visible app to activate your service.

When you sign up for Visible Wireless online, you will receive your SIM card (and new phone, if you bought one) in the mail in a day or two.

Once you get the package in the mail, download the Visible app on your smartphone (you’ll need to connect to the internet using your old SIM or a Wi-Fi network to do this). Open the app and sign in using the account that you set up when you made your order. Once you’re signed in, insert the SIM card into your phone.

Follow the remaining instructions in the Visible app, restart your phone, and you should be ready to rock.

Visible Wireless customer service performance

Here’s the thing about low-cost MVNO carriers like Visible: they have to cut costs somewhere. That means you won’t see the same kind of awesome perks you’d get with AT&T or the data speeds that T-Mobile offers. And you won’t get a well-staffed customer service department.

But even amongst the cheaper carriers, Visible has a pretty negative reputation. It retains a measly 1.4 star rating on TrustPilot. We can’t help but think this sad situation is a result of the company refusing to give customers a number to call. . .

Still, it’s hard to argue with unlimited talk, text, and data for as little as $25 a month!
