Best Xfinity TV and Internet Bundles 2023
We may earn money when you click our links.
Xfinity bundles range from its basic Choice TV bundles to the goodie-filled Ultimate bundles with more than 185 channels—and sometimes with gigabit internet speeds.
But which Xfinity bundle is best for you? It depends on where you live, what channels you want, and what internet speed you need.
Let’s take a peek at your Xfinity Wi-Fi internet and TV options in terms of price, channel count, and download speeds to see which bundle ticks all your must-haves.
How to pick the best Comcast Xfinity bundle
Choosing a bundle is difficult: There are a ton of choices and some choices don't even look appealing.
If you're shopping for an Xfinity Wi-Fi internet, and TV bundle, here are some things to look out for.
1. Look at what you get for the price
It might make sense at first to just go for the bundle with the lowest price, but you might end up with TV, internet, or phone service that doesn’t meet your needs.
For example, if you’re in the Central US and eyeing that cheap Connect Internet + Ultimate TV bundle, its 25 Mbps download speeds won’t be enough for a large family with adults who work from home and kiddos who like to play Xbox. And we have a feeling that same family might want a few more channels than the 10+ that come with the bundle to keep everyone entertained, too.
So don’t just automatically go with the lowest price. Make sure you get the channels, internet, and Wi-Fi speed you want as well.
What comes with Xfinity phone service?
Your Xfinity Voice home phone service comes with unlimited local calls, call waiting and caller ID. Calls to Canada, Mexico, China, India, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Puerto Rico are included in the Unlimited plans, and you can check international calling rates for other countries.
2. Compare channel offerings
You can save some money by grabbing a bundle with as many of the TV channels you want and few to no extra channels you won’t ever watch.
You’ll want to look for any specific channels you absolutely must have on Xfinity’s channel list. Otherwise, here’s a quick peek at some of the popular channels you’ll see in different Xfinity bundles.
Need to know what channel to flip to for your favorite channel?
Your Xfinity TV channel number depends on where you live, but you can easily look it up with your address using Xfinity’s channel guide.
3. Get enough internet speed
Make sure you get a bundle with enough download speed to keep everyone connected (and happy). Nobody enjoys a toddler temper tantrum, especially one that happened because their Paw Patrol started buffering nonstop.
In general, we recommend the following download speeds based on how many people are in your home:
- 1–2 people: 40–100 Mbps
- 2–4 people: 75–300 Mbps
- 4+ people: 500+ Mbps
But you’ll also want to consider what everyone does online. Here are our general recommendations for common internet activities:
- Working/studying from home with video calls: 100+ Mbps
- Using home security cameras: 100+ Mbps
- Streaming 4K video: 75+ Mbps
- Gaming: 40+ Mbps for most games
We’ve also created an internet speed guide to help you navigate the lingo and land on the right speed for you.
Cheapest Xfinity bundles
Looking to save a buck when you pair up Xfinity TV, internet, mobile, and landline? Here’s how Xfinity Two- and Three Xfinity product bundles stack up from the cheapest to the most expensive.
Keep in mind that there are three regions that Xfinity services: Western US, Northeastern US, and Central US.
And yes, all three areas have semi-different bundles regarding prices, channels, and download speeds. But, not too different. Here, we've highlighted the Western US bundles to get an idea.
The Connect Internet + Choice TV bundle is by far the cheapest at $50 a month.
But as far as value goes, the next cheapest bundle, Fast Internet + Popular TV, isn’t a bad deal at all. It also serves up at least 115 more channels than the cheapest bundle, making it an easy pick if you enjoy channel surfing. And until December 5th, you can get a free Unlimited Intro mobile line for two years when you switch to Xfinity's Fast Internet plan.
Xfinity bundles by channel offerings
Gotta have a certain channel? Or maybe you just want a large list of channels to surf through to pass the time? Here’s how those Xfinity bundles compare when it comes to channel count. (And here’s an overview of which channels come with which packages.)
We’d say the Superfast Internet + Ultimate TV bundle hits the sweet spot for channels.
For about $110 a month, you’ll get ESPN, AMC, The Disney Channel, Fox News, HGTV, National Geographic, and Investigation Discovery. Plus, download speeds of up to 800 Mbps that’ll support a large household as they game, work, and learn online—a little something for everyone at just over $100 a month.
Xfinity bundles by internet download speed
If internet speed is the thing you need, Xfinity bundles can deliver speeds anywhere from 100 to 1,000 Mbps.
And if you’re not sure how much internet speed you need, we can help you figure out the right amount of Mbps to keep everyone happy.
Max Xfinity internet speeds hit about 1,200 Mbps, and the Gigabit Extra Internet + Ultimate TV + Xfinity Voice bundle is the only bundle that hits that max speed sweet spot for anyone running a home business and sharing their network with a bunch of people.
But if you prefer to save a little money at the expense of speed, the Connect Internet + Choice TV bundle should still support a home business or large family.
Save some money by using your own internet equipment
You can save $14 on your monthly Xfinity bill by skipping the equipment rental and bringing your own. Check out our guide to the best Xfinity internet modems and routers for ideas.
