This TCL 6-Series 4K TV is one of the most highly-rated TVs for gaming for its price, picture quality, sound, and THX Certified Gaming Mode.

But especially for its picture quality because many consumers have said it has the best image quality they’ve seen. *Adding to the cart*

THX Certified Gaming Mode promises zero image smear, slow response time, or input lag. So your scenes will appear instantaneously, images look sharper, and gameplay will be super smooth.

On top of all that, enjoy the brightness and vivid color of this HDR QLED TV as you’re playing Rainbow 6 Extraction or Elden Ring.

Even though this TV has excellent sound already, keep in mind that connecting to outside audio sources—like a soundbar—was a little difficult to set up with this TCL 4K TV. So make sure to set time aside to connect it properly so you can immerse yourself in the action's sound.

This inexpensive TCL 4K TV has features you’d see with $600–$1,000 TVs, such as Ultra high definition (UHD) and high dynamic range (HDR) for a lifelike gaming experience.

You get quite a bit out of this 4K TV for the low price. The picture, clarity, sound, and setup are all smooth and crisp that any gamer can likely get behind.

After the easy setup, you can connect your Xbox or PS4 and start playing Horizon Forbidden West within minutes.

Some consumers have said that turning on this 4K TV and launching apps, like Netflix, can take up to 10 seconds. And another consumer said the remote’s response time was speedy.

pro 120 Hz Native refresh rate
pro IMAX Enhanced
con You’ll likely want a warranty, just in case
Price:
$698.00

Any price and availability information displayed on relevant Amazon site(s), as applicable, at the time of purchase will apply to the purchase of this product.

Any gamer will want a 120 Hz Native refresh rate for a smoother image while playing on your PS5.

This Hisense 4K TV also delivers Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and IMAX Enhanced.

Dolby Vision HDR picture and Dolby Atmos sound will make you feel like you’re actually in Sifu. IMAX Enhanced adds to that cinematic experience with 4K HDR image and DTS audio technologies.

So you could say this TV is also great for those who’d rather watch action in the comfort of their couch instead of going to the movie theaters.

To be safe, we’d recommend grabbing a warranty—but it might be a good idea to do that with any TV. Some reviewers have said they’ve eventually encountered flaws with the screen, like flickering and blotchiness.

pro Reviewers say this TV is great for its price
pro Most of the same features as the 55U8G model
con Might not be for PS5 gamers
Price:
$797.99

Amazon.com prices (as of 7/24/22 12:00 p.m. MST). Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Many consumers have said great things about the quality of this product in relation to the price.

A recent customer review said this TV is the “best ULED TV for the price,” which boosts the color, contrast, brightness, and motion of your gaming experience. An avid gamer also said, “it has amazing picture, and the sound quality is top-notch.”

Like the Hisense above, this Hisense 4K TV also has a 120 Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos sound, and IMAX Enhanced. The biggest difference we saw was a few gamers experiencing problems connecting their PS5.

This TV's features say it’s compatible with VRR on the PS5, but one consumer said the TV displayed 4K at 60 Hz instead of 120 Hz. Another said he turned on Enhance Mode to activate the VRR for the PS5, but they must constantly reset it.

It doesn’t hurt to order a warranty, but we will say there were still a lot of reviews that had no problems connecting their PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One S, and Nintendo Switch.

With the a7 Gen 4 AI Processor 4K, this LG OLED TV lets you catch every detail of Call of Duty with a smooth, crisp picture.

This technology can automatically adjust your viewing and audio settings with AI Picture and Sound for each scene.

The NVIDIA G-SYNC and FreeSync Premium compatibility allow for no screen tearing, easier access to game settings, low input lag, and fast response times.

You might wonder why this TV is in the fifth spot, but it had significantly fewer reviews than the TCL 6-Series 4K TV. But consumers said this TV would deliver an excellent gaming experience and cinematic picture for streaming Netflix, Hulu, or Disney+.
