Over the last few years, the online shopping event Click Frenzy has become a tri-annual ritual for Aussies looking to save some cash on tech, travel, utilities, and more. This not-so-humble national event has become so popular that it’s managed to generate more hype than America’s post-Black Friday online event, Cyber Monday.

Three times a year, Click Frenzy runs a sales event with hundreds of deals from providers like Telstra, Optus, Microsoft Store, Dell, Kogan, eBay and plenty more. You’ll commonly find discounts on mobile plans, gaming hardware, like monitors and mice, and even bigger ticket items like laptops and televisions. There are also more deals on travel and lifestyle products, but it’s the tech products we’re most interested in.

Click Frenzy Mayhem kicked off at 7:00 pm AEST on Tuesday 19 May 2020, with deals running as short as 48 hours, and as long as a couple of weeks. Be sure to jump on the deals in the table below before they expire.

We’re keeping this page up-to-date with the latest Click Frenzy deals as they become available.

Optus MVNO was the first telco to crack, announcing a $10 discount on its 100GB plan. By applying the promo code DATAFRENZY at the checkout, new customers can score 100GB for $28 per month. This deal expires 11:59 pm AEST on Friday 22 May, 2020.

Next up was Telstra, who dropped two SIM deals: 30GB for $40 per month, 60GB for $50 per month and 150GB for $90 per month. Telstra also offered a surprisingly great value Xbox One S deal, which gets you an Xbox One S console, Game Pass Ultimate (valued at $15.95 per month), and game codes for Forza Horizon 4 ($99.95), plus its LEGO Speed Champions DLC ($29.95). Find out more about that Xbox deal here. Telstra’s Click Frenzy Deals run until Monday, 25 May.

Vodafone also took part in the Click Frenzy sale with more data for less on its $40 Red Plus SIM Only plan.  The discount gets you 25GB per month at the discounted price of $35 per month. If you’re already a Vodafone customer, that deal is also subject to Voda’s bundle discounts. You can also take advantage of Vodafone’s trademark $5 roaming add-on, a great choice for travellers that gives you access to all your inclusions for $5 per day when abroad. Vodafone’s Click Frenzy deal will be available until Monday, 25 May.

Woolworths Mobile is chipping a tidy $150 off Samsung Galaxy S20 devices (S20, S20+ and S20 Ultra). The discount is taken off the total cost when you sign up to a phone plan with Woolworths Mobile, making the monthly cost for a S20 plan with Woolies cheaper across the board.

Woolworths Mobile’s discount on Galaxy S20 handsets ends Thursday, 28 May.

Here’s a small sample of the Galaxy S20 plans available through Woolworths during Click Frenzy.

Aussie Broadband has joined in on the sales, offering $10 off its already top-value 100/20 Unlimited NBN plan. That brings the monthly cost down to $79 per month, an impressive price for the NBN’s top speed tier. Aussie Broadband’s deal is a no-contract, month-to-month arrangement but the price reverts to $89 per month after the first 12 months.

Catch.com.au is running 50-90% off items sitewide and while we haven’t tracked down any smartphone deals, there are discounts on accessories, like charging cables, wireless chargers, screen protectors, and more.

Phonebot is offering discounts on refurbished smartphones, including Apple iPhone XR models, and Google Pixel 4XL and 3XL.

Mydeal has also cut the price on its refurbished iPhones, offering iPhone 8 models from $428, iPhone X models from $809, and the iPhone 6S as cheap as $219. There are also deals available on refurbished Samsung Galaxy models, and accessories, like a bunch of fake AirPods.
